Why Hire a Wedding Planner?

Hiring a planner saves time. Planning takes up a lot of time and most couples have other commitments such as work or family and simply do not have time. Planners have experience with vendors to recommend who suites your needs and know how many of them actually deliver on promises. A planner will keep you on budget and help you prioritize to ensure your money is spent in the best way. Hiring a planner means they are on YOUR side and can stand in as your voice if things get tricky with family. Having a planner also takes over roles often given to family and friends so they can enjoy the wedding day. Planners are there to answer questions from vendors, wedding party and family so they aren’t contacting the bride and groom all day. They will also keep everyone on track so they day runs according to plan. In the event that a crisis or emergency arises, having a planner there will be able to solve the problem before the bride and groom ever find out. Most importantly, you will be allowing yourself to be in the moment with your family and friends on the most important day of your life.

My venue has a planner, why do I need to hire one?

Event planners and managers are there for the venue. They may help with some things and situations, but their main concern in the venue. Hiring Vision In White means we are there for YOU and will be there to help you the entire day. Planners are also trained to assist with every part of a wedding weekend, while venue planners are only trained on the venue.

How do I know which planner to choose?

It is crucial that the wedding planner you choose is someone you like and trust. Your wedding is a costly and highly emotional event. Because of this you should select a planner that you feel will be a partner that will understand you, your communication style, and will be true to your vision. It will become clear to you who is a trained professional and who makes you feel most at ease.

Do you have assistants for the wedding day?

Depending on the locations and time frame, there will be 1-2 event assistants present on wedding day. If it is a more intense set up or difficult logistically, more assistants may be required to ensure your wedding runs perfectly!

Can I afford a wedding planner?

Absolutely! Planners are here to help you save money! Wedding planners help you get the best possible services with your specific budget and know who and what services are negotiable. Most brides will admit that having a planner was the best money they spent on their wedding, whether it be month-of coordinating or full planning. We have vendors that offer discounts to our clients that otherwise a bride will not receive if they call the vendor on their own. In the long run, having a planner will save you money with their knowledge of vendors and how the industry works.
