Checking in with past couples has showered us with fun life updates . . . and this week is no exception! We checked in with Robin and Nate who have been married 5 years! Let’s see what they’ve been up to and hear about their wedding planning experience with Vision in White!
Q: What was your wedding date and location? How long have you been married?
Nate and I were married on 7/11/15 at The Cordell in Nashville. We have been married for 5 years and counting!
Q: What planning package did you book with Vision in White?
Since we were planning our wedding from out of state, we went with a full planning package with Alex – best decision we made!
Q: What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?
Visiting Nashville, doing the food/cake tastings, and working with Alex. Alex and her team really cared about making our day as wonderful and as smooth as possible. She made sure to send us options for all our vendors, in all price point ranges. It was nice to see what was available to us and what would work to keep our wedding within our budget.
Q: What did you stress about during planning that you wish you hadn’t?
Honestly, I really didn’t stress about anything during the planning process. It was such a smooth and easy process that I was able to enjoy it all and just show up for our big day.
Q: What do you remember most about your wedding day?
Dancing the night away with friends and family – and my mom pressuring my friends into taking shots throughout the night!
Q: What would you have changed about your wedding planning or wedding day?
I might have changed the date; I didn’t realize how hot it can get in Nashville during the summer! Or maybe pushed my wedding start time back to make pictures a little more bearable.
Q: What are some exciting life updates since you got married?
Since getting married, Nate and I have had a daughter, Charlotte 3 years old, moved from Orlando Florida to Denver Colorado, and are now expecting a little brother for Charlotte coming in early 2021! (Congratulations, Robin and Nate!!!)
Q: What advice would you give couples that are currently planning their wedding?
Don’t stress over the little details; your guests (and you) will remember three things: the food, music, and the bar. Biggest and best decision we made was to hire a planner… even my husband agrees it was a smart move! It is well worth the cost to have a professional take care of everything and allow yourself to truly enjoy your big day. I am so very thankful that we did!
