With COVID causing a ruckus on many couples wedding plans, we have had a lot of people reaching out about elopements and intimate weddings. Christina and Brandon were planning to get married in the Florida Keys in early May but had to pivot and make alternate arrangements. They reached out to us and we got them all taken care of with a perfect Modern Elopement at East Ivy Mansion!
Getting Ready
Christina arrived at the mansion at 3pm to get started on hair and makeup. With the wedding set to start at 5pm, it was just enough time to get all dolled up and into her wedding dress with the help of her mom. Brandon arrived at 4:30pm, was pinned with his bout and awaited the big moment of seeing his bride.
Christina was all ready for her entrance down the aisle!

Elopement Details
Even with an elopement, there are still beautiful detail items that need to be showcased! In this case we had vow books, her bouquet, and of course the new accessory, a mask. Christina had requested to have sunflowers so we created a beautiful and bright colored bouquet for her.

Elopement Highlights
The time arrived for Christina and her dad to make their way down the aisle! Brandon was waiting patiently with such a happy look on his face. Christina chose to walk in to Canon in D, played by a solo violinist from Viva La Strings.

With the emotions of the day, they both had a hard time holding back happy tears during their vows.

And with a kiss, they were married!

Family Photos
After the wedding, some family photos were taking. Of course the mask had to make an appearance again.

Bride and Groom Photos
With the Modern Elopement, you get 50 minutes following the ceremony to take as many photos as you’d like. Christina and Brandon chose such a beautiful venue that there were a lot of photo op spots!

Fun fact: Brandon’s proposal involved Gigi’s Cupcakes, so they made an appearance on wedding day too!

East Ivy Mansion is truly a beautiful place for an elopement.

After the photos, the couple and their parents headed off to celebrate with a dinner at Oak Steakhouse. We had an amazing day with these two and wish them a beautiful future!

Sweet words from the couple: We just used Vision in White Events for their elopement package and I can’t recommend them enough! After having to change our wedding plans due to coronavirus we had about 3 weeks to plan everything. Alex B got it all done and expertly planned every detail for us! From the first email, she was the most attentive and responded to every question and detail. The elopement package included EVERYTHING we needed to make our small wedding dreams come true. She constantly kept in touch with us through email, phone calls and texts to make sure we had everything we needed and that our wedding day went smoothly. The day of was stress-free and our plans came together perfectly. The officiant, venue, photographer, flowers, hair and makeup, and violinist that were included in the package were all amazing. Vision in White blew me away with how easy they made this for us!
