Lauren and Charlie had an intimate ceremony over looking downtown Nashville last October. With Lauren being an interior designer, she was able to add beautiful touches to their wedding decor too.
Lauren and her “something blue” friends got ready together that morning and took photos at Opryland Hotel. While the girls weren’t technically bridesmaids, they were still included in the festivities as if they were and were asked to walk as a group down the aisle during the ceremony.
The ceremony and reception were held at Marathon Village near downtown Nashville. The backdrop for the ceremony was the Nashville skyline at night with some beautiful candles, greenery and draping around the window.
Following the ceremony, there was a partial room flip while the wedding party, family and newlyweds took some photos. Marathon Village has some amazing areas to take photos and Andrew Kenworthy did a wonderful job of capturing it.
The centerpieces had dogwood branches, vintage books and candles on top of ivory colored table linens. There was a dessert bar on the stage in the center of the room with tons of sweets, lanterns and other vintage pieces and greenery mixed in. For the guestbook, they had Polaroid cameras and an empty book where the guests were able to put the pictures along with a note for the couple.
Special dances, cake cutting, toasts and partying went through the night all leading up to the glow stick exit. This group had a ton of fun dancing along with the music the Dj, Don Raymond played.
We didn’t get to spend a ton of time with Lauren and Charlie during the planning due to the package they booked with us, but we know they are wonderful people and we wish them nothing but the best!
