We had an absolute blast working with Michelle and Daniel and we are so excited to share their wedding day! The ceremony was held at the beautiful Church of the Assumption and the reception was at a new popular music venue, City Winery.
Pre-Ceremony
The day started out with Michelle and Daniel getting ready with their wedding party. Michelle and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at Salon Ya Ya and then got dressed at the Sheraton Hotel downtown before heading out to start photos.
The couple shared their first look on the Pedestrian Bridge in the heart of downtown Nashville. It was a fairly windy day, but other than that the weather was perfect! We just can’t get over how cute they are together.
All of these pictures are just too beautiful to not share. Photographer, Gavin Nutt is so talented and did a really incredible job! We love working with him.
After the bride and groom photos, it was time to get the wedding party involved. The girls all wore nude type colors and Michelle matched their bouquets to their dresses. Remember what we said about the wind? Haha!
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony at the Church of the Assumption is located in Nashville’s historic Germantown area. Look at the dress the flower girl is wearing, so cute! Everyone was all smiles during the heartfelt ceremony.
After an intimate ceremony in front of close family and friends, it was finally time to announce Mr. and Mrs. Hill!
Michelle, Daniel and their wedding party took a few more photos, then hopped on the trolley and made their way to the reception.
Wedding Reception
City Winery was the perfect location for their reception. We love the idea of using wine bottles as the guestbook. The beautiful flowers are from Nashville Blooms. The string lights illuminated the reception area and gave off a romantic feel. And how about that chandelier?!
Michelle and Daniel shared their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. to “Hey Pretty Girl” by Kip Moore. Michelle shared a dance with her dad to “I Just Called to Say I Love You” by Stevie Wonder followed by Daniel and his mom dancing to “Southern State of Mind” by Darius Rucker.
Dinner was served buffet-style from City Winery which was delicious. Two words, risotto balls.
The cakes done by Publix continue to impress us with both the design and taste. Michelle and Daniel cut their cake and continued on with the dancing and celebration.
Each fraternity and sorority has their own way of honoring the bride or groom, and Michelle was able to share a special moment with her sorority sisters.
As the night winded down, Michelle and Daniel ended their night surrounded by family, friends and lots of sparklers!
Congratulations Michelle and Daniel! We wish you both the best and feel so blessed to be able to call you friends.
