It was a beautiful spring day on April 28th when Numa and Tom brought their friends and family together from near and far to celebrate their wedding. Our team at Vision in White Events was honored to help with the planning of their special day. We hope they share a lifetime of love and happiness!
Numa started wedding prep the night before the wedding with a henna party at her parents’ house. She headed to Saddle Wood Farms the next morning to begin getting her hair and makeup done by Ashley with The Beauty Hall.
Numa and Tom chose to wear traditional Indian wedding attire with Numa wearing the beautiful red beaded Sari, and Tom wearing this amazing Sherwani and Sehra.
With her henna tattoos dry and her hair and makeup complete, it was now time for Numa to get into her dress. Tom was also getting his finishing touches complete before the first look.
Tom patiently waited as Numa walked up behind him to share a special moment together before their ceremony. Gavin Nutt Photo did a wonderful job at capturing the love these two shares for one another! Their bright colors of their wedding day attire really pops against the beautiful outdoor setting.
Ceremony and Reception Details
Tom and Numa wanted a stress free wedding for everyone involved. They accomplished this by having the ceremony and reception in the same place. They transformed the already beautiful barn into a breathtaking space thanks to additional lighting and draping. The centerpieces were mind blowing – tall floral arrangements with candles that went perfectly with the red table linens and gold trimmed plates. We absolutely LOVE all the color incorporated into this wedding.
Nashville Sweets did an amazing job with the wedding cake topped off with bright and colorful flowers wrapped around the delicious naked cake.
Tom and Numa continued the Indian tradition with their ceremony – exchanging floral garlands as an expression of their desire to marry and a shared drink to increase their love for one another.
Ladies from the bride’s family (siblings, cousins, and friends) helped the newlyweds throughout the ceremony, while the bride’s brother stepped up to the mic to help offer an explanations of cultural customs and traditions.
Immediately following the ceremony, Numa and Tom went straight to cutting their cake. They enjoyed dinner along with their guests. With their stomachs full, they listened as their friends and family gave speeches and performed.
Everyone was smiling as they shared their first dance with one another!
Guests joined them on the dance floor and danced the night away!
