September 4th, 2016 is a day that started with one dress, and two people in love. The Vision in White Team had the honor of arranging Lauren and Trevor’s simple garden wedding at the gorgeous Long Hollow Gardens just outside of Nashville.
The day started off promptly at 8:45 AM with the bride, Lauren, and her bridesmaid squad getting pampered by LK Beauty and Project Face. The matching satin floral robes added a friendly touch – appropriately matching the color scheme, of course!
First Look & Photoshoot
After the couple get dressed, it was time to head to the garden grounds for their intimate first look, and a photoshoot with Amilia Photography.
Lauren’s dress is perfect for the botanical venue with elegant, simple floral accents done by Urban Fresh. Lauren is as shining and radiant as the lush garden and naturally beautiful!
The groom is clean cut and looking sharp too! Trevor’s pocket squares cleverly allude to the color scheme. Why have one when you can have all three?
Together, the two look like they are meant to be with some bride and groom shots before the ceremony.
Sage green and violet succulents are interspersed between green and white flowers both in the boutonnieres and bouquets of the bridal party. The blush pink bridesmaids dresses make the perfect contrast with slate gray of the groomsmen.
Maid of Honor and sister, Andrea, along with the bridesmaids are exquisitely dressed in floral lace as well. White roses add even more elegance to the rustic outdoor setting.
During the pre-ceremony photos, the girls are all smiles while the guys are all goofs!
However, Trevor’s crew couldn’t look more dapper. Small accents signify Trevor as the man of the hour, such as his bowtie and boutonniere.
As guests begin to arrive at the gardens, they are greeted by the memories of weddings past. Today will make history as Lauren and Trevor honor their family by including their own ceremonies in the celebration of their relationship. It’s surely one for the books!
We even handmade this rustic “unplugged” sign for the guests to fully enjoy the ceremony.
The ceremony commences at 5:30PM and Lauren takes everyone’s breath away as her father escorts her down the aisle. The southern charm of the gardens is a perfect setting for a beautiful fall Nashville day.
After the “I do”s the new Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Bruns are all smiles!
For the reception, the guests move to the Long Hollow Greenhouse. We decorated the venue with personal touches of the Bride and Groom, adding an intimate feel in the elegant details.
The greenhouse is glowing with the love of family and friends.
Kathy’s Sugar and Spice served a delicious meal with one of our custom-made menu boards. Who doesn’t love a menu with brisket on it?!
DJ MSA Entertainment kicks off the night with Lauren and Trevor’s first dance, followed by a mother/son and father/daughter dance for the happy couple.
Just as the wedding started with a white dress, it ends with a white cake and a fun loving couple doing their ceremonial cake cutting.
With a sparkling send off, the newlywed Mr. and Mrs. Bruns give a glittering goodbye their to guests.
Congratulations Lauren and Trevor!
