On September 2nd, Ashley and Adam shared their special day with us. It was a beautiful wedding that will be marked as the start of their married life together!
Getting Ready
The Bride and her lovely bridesmaids got ready at the Sheraton Downtown early that morning. The girls all had on silk robes with their monogram initials on it. How beautiful are Ashley’s blue shoes!?
Later that afternoon, the Adam and groomsmen arrived to ready themselves as well. We loved the yellow/gold tie that he’s wearing.
First Look
Ashley and Adam made their way to the Scarritt Bennet ceremony venue as they prepared for their first look. In a beautiful outdoor hallway at the church, Ashley approached Adam with much excitement! When Adam turned around to see her, he smiled in amazement at his stunning bride.
After their first look, the couple walked the grounds of the church to get some wonderful pictures together. They are a glowing couple on their wedding day and it was captured perfectly by Nashville Photography Group.
Wedding Party
Ashley’s bridesmaids had elegant matching, navy dresses. Their dresses looked charming in the church where the ceremony was held. They were perfect for the setting. The men’s dark gray suits looked so nice up against Adam’s light gray suit, and they also accented the girl’s navy dresses well. Their gold bow tie’s added a sophisticated touch while the girls bouquets were the perfect accent piece.
Ceremony Details
The ceremony was located at the gorgeous Scarritt Bennett Center. The décor was simple but beautiful. The pews were decorated with blue and white flower arrangements. The alter had two urns with greenery and blue and white flowers spilling out of them.
Ceremony
The ceremony was short and sweet, led by the groom’s grandfather. There was talk of love and friendship and how those two things are so important to remember throughout their marriage.
Then Adam kissed his bride, and they were pronounced husband and wife!
Reception Details
After the ceremony concluded, the guests headed to the Sheraton Downtown for the reception. The tables were decorated with navy blue linens, and atop them were different golden candelabras or bowls with gorgeous arrangements in them.
The couple had their own sweetheart table off to the side so that they could eat their first dinner as a married couple by themselves!
There was a large golden picture frame at the entrance of the reception area. When you first walked in, the couple had two cornhole boards for the guests to sign as their guestbook. A beautiful four-tiered cake was lined with golden icing and decked with a golden “O” to represent their last name. Lastly, it was topped with a sweet sign with their names and wedding date on it. Sweetest Day did an incredible job on the cake!
Reception
The reception began with a grand entrance by the full wedding party, with the couple’s first dance following it. After their first dance, the bride and groom had their father/daughter and mother/son dances. Then, following the toasts, the delicious dinner was served!
After some dancing, the couple shared a precious moment together by cutting the cake! Once everyone was finished dancing the night away, Ashley tossed her bouquet for all the single ladies there.
Once the event concluded, Ashley and Adam had their grand exit with ribbons and bells. It was a lovely evening that they will never forget!
A big thanks to all of our wonderful vendors that helped out with making this day possible. We could not have done it without you!
