See how Brooke and AJ’s beautiful summer wedding came together at Tucker’s Gap. With the stunning tiffany blue and silver accents to pop against the dark rustic wood of the venue, these two celebrated their Nigerian heritage with a mix of the traditional American wedding to celebrate their love.
Brooke and AJ had three separate looks for their stunning wedding. Starting with their traditional Nigerian wedding attire first look. This look was a beautiful bright cobalt blue and silver outfit that was absolutely breath taking.

The dress below was for the reception, it was a beautiful white and orange gown with stunning beadwork. It is a traditional Nigerian gown for part of the wedding day festivities.
AJ’s mom helped both AJ and Brooke get dressed into their amazing Nigerian wedding looks. The details were impeccable.
Traditional Nigerian Wedding Attire First Look
The day started with a first look in their traditional Nigerian wedding looks. The anticipation for these two to see each other was seen from their smiles! Truly amazing outfits and such an awesome tradition to be able to showcase family history.
The details in Brooke’s jewelry was so beautiful. Her head piece was filled with blue gems that sparkled with the light and draped down her updo like a princess. The same type of chain work was placed over dress like a beaded shawl.
Nigerian Attire Bride and Groom Photos
These two looked like royalty in this “royal” blue. Their love shines so bright in these photos!
The details were everything with these looks. From Brooke’s hair piece, to her bracelets, to the earrings and her boa, it was perfect. AJ had a bright orange beaded necklace and bracelet and a giraffe print cane that pulled his entire look all together.
Getting Ready in Traditional American Attire
With their Nigerian attire first look finished, Brooke changed into her traditional American white dress and AJ into his sleek black suit. Brooke’s dress was a stunning a-line gown with a v shaped neckline covered in a stunning peek-a-boo lace bodice. The tulle continued down her dress with the prettiest flower like detailing.
Brooke looked absolutely stunning with her silver accessories and she looked perfect in her second gown.
AJ looked so handsome in his black suit. He had a black vest with white polka dots to add a little spice to such a classic look. He paired it with a matching bowtie to complete the look.

Brooke’s bouquet was a stunning array of orchids, tulips, lilies, and roses. Some of these beautiful flowers had a touch of tiffany blue to tie in their wedding colors and to help pop against Brooke’s dress!
Brooke’s hair was so pretty with ties to retro looking pin curls into the up-do. These two just looked fabulous in all of their outfits!
AJ’s boutonnière went perfectly with Brooke’s bouquet and tied in their tiffany blue and white that we saw throughout the wedding day.
Wedding Party Photos
Brooke and AJ’s wedding party looked great next to them! The bright tiffany blue touches were stunning on everyone.
The girls each had a different style dress in the same stunning tiffany blue color. They had hidden rhinestones in their bouquets, such a fun way to add a little sparkle! The flower girls were absolutely adorable in their flower crowns and matching white dresses.
The guys had the same pop of blue in their ties and the ribbon around their boutonnière. Such a sharp look!
Wedding Ceremony Details
The ceremony overlooked a beautiful waterfall with luscious green hills and trees. The altar was draped and had a stunning floral arrangement on the top, with beautiful large floral arrangements lining both sides of the altar space as well as at the beginning of the aisle. Truly a beautiful setting for Brooke and AJ to get married.
Wedding Ceremony Highlights
The ceremony was beautiful, once the flower girls laid their petals, Brooke walked down the aisle to her happy groom with her dad and her step dad!
AJ was so excited to see his stunning bride walk down the aisle. Always the most incredible moment when you realize you are about to marry your best friend.
After a beautiful ceremony the deal was finally sealed with a kiss! Welcoming the new Mr. and Mrs. AJ and Brooke Tudeme!
Wedding Reception Details
The reception space was beautiful, with ceiling drape and string lights to frame the beautiful tall ceilings of Tuckers Gap to the pretty tiffany blue linens and silver chairs.
Guests signed little wood hearts to place in a larger wooden heart for an alternative to a guest book.
Each guest was able to take a custom champagne glass home with them as their favors. So cute!
The sweetheart table was a thrown-like love seat with beautiful cascading orchids and romantic candles. The textured linen was rose like and the silver accents on the chargers and toasting flutes made a gorgeous table scape.
The three-tier cake had pretty detailing throughout with silver rhinestone accents and a beautiful tiffany blue bow to wrap it all up.
Wedding Reception Highlights
Welcoming in Mr. and Mrs. AJ and Brooke Tudeme! Followed by both of their families and wedding party, Brooke and AJ entered in with style to “What If I Say” by Fireboy DML. With lots of celebration and a traditional money throw for the couple, they went right into their first dance as husband and wife to “Nobody” by Brian McKnight.
Following the excitement, Brooke and her father had their dance to “If This World Were Mine” by Luther V she also shared a dance with her step father to “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Gerald & Eddy Levert. AJ shared a special moment with his mother for their mother and son dance to a mix of “Mama” by Boyz 2 men “Sweet Mother” by Prince Nico Mbarga.
The shoe game kicked off the reception activities with lots of laughter and many laughs continuing through their toasts, you could see how much love these two are surrounded by!
Brooke and AJ cut into their stunning cake!
Celebrating the Nigerian Wedding traditions, the grooms mother danced into their reception with a group of woman all in their stunning gowns. Our bride and groom had an outfit change as well into stunning white and orange looks with beautiful beadwork. This part of the reception was such a fun tradition with so much fun energy!
These looks are so beautiful and everyone looks so stunning in them! These traditions were awesome, from the money dances to the tradition of the bride finding her groom after taking wine from both sets of parents along with a blessing, truly an incredible night.
Bouquet toss to “Party” by Beyonce to welcome all the single ladies to the dance floor. Followed by the garter toss, where AJ had a lot of fun!
The party was incredible! So much fun celebrating our bride and groom!
