Getting Ready

Cassie got ready at the bridal suite right at The Estate at Cherokee Dock. With this venue, you have the option of adding overnight stay so a lot of friends and family came down early and had a mini vacation with them before the wedding.

Her ceremony dress was an elegant full lace fitted gown that had a beautiful long train and sleeves. It had a mesh cutout and an open back with buttons flowing all the way down.

Her dad escorted her down the aisle with a big smile. What an amazing moment to share with your dad as you walk towards your true love.

Then it was time for the vows and traditions to begin. Lots of emotion, happy tears and many smiles!

Cassie and Mike did a ceremony in which they washed each other’s feet. It is a Christian-based tradition, which is representative of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples in John 13:1-17, as a symbol of love and humility.

A Kiss that seals the deal! Welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Nolan.

The reception space was beautifully draped to highlight the space. There was a fun photobooth wall made of greenery and some flowers with their new last name. The centerpieces were simple yet so sophisticated.

The place settings were set with menu cards folded into the napkin with custom wooden seating cards on top so each person knew where to sit.

Cassie had a very special friend named Hannah who tragically passed about a year before the wedding. Hannah was the person who suggested The Estate at Cherokee Dock for Cassie and Mike’s wedding so it had a lot of special meaning to them. To remember Hannah on this special day, they saved her a seat with a seating card reserved for their favorite angel.
