Nashville Wedding Recap – Cassie & Joshua

Cassie and Joshua held their special wedding at the Venue at Birchwood. This day was full of laughter, love, and SO MUCH fun! Keep scrolling to see how this gorgeous, June day unfolded.

Getting Ready

It’s wedding day! Cassie and her bridesmaids were pampered by Made by Beck in the venue’s bridal suite! These ladies looked absolutely stunning and were so excited for their beautiful Bride. Cassie wore a beautiful, white column gown that had the cutest floral design throughout. Simply elegant and dazzling!

No matter how old you are, you will always need “momma’s help”! Here we see the sweet Mother of the Bride Beth helping Cassie get ready for her big day. Moments like these will be cherished forever!

First Look

Before our Bride & Groom have their first look, Cassie had one with her Father, Paul. This was such an emotional moment for the two of them. You can see how simply in awe he is with his little girl!

Anxiously awaiting to see his gorgeous Bride…here she comes!

Josh was absolutely blown away with his Bride! Look at Cassie’s sweet smile as she is so excited to see her soon-to-be husband!

Bride and Groom Photos

Now that the Bride and Groom have seen each other Rose Gold Photography continued to snap incredible pictures of the two! Josh was wearing a traditional black and white tux with a bow tie and suspenders. This gives a very classy, “James Bond” look! The greenery surrounding Birchwood contrasted very well with this elegant couple.

Wedding Party Photos

Check out this stunning group! Here we see both Josh’s groomsmen and Cassie’s bridesmaids, along with their adorable ring bearer and flower girl. Cassie’s bridesmaids are wearing beautiful silhouette, black dresses with the groomsmen to match in black suits. This group was so fun AND looked great!

Wedding Ceremony Details

Cassie and Josh created a simple, yet stunning Ceremony in Birchwood’s onsite chapel. Angela Sadler Floral Design added beautiful hydrangeas and greenery to their altar piece, really bringing the room to life!

Wedding Ceremony Highlights

It’s finally time! Look at the sweet flower girl Olivia getting a high five from Josh as she made it down the aisle. She did an awesome job!

The moment we have all been waiting for, someone is excited to be a Mrs!

Both Cassie and Josh were overwhelmed with tears of joy. You can truly see how much these two love each other!

Something else that made this ceremony so special was having Cassie’s Father Paul as their officiant. This made their ceremony that much more memorable!

The kiss that sealed the deal, congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sauer!

Wedding Reception Details

Moving into the reception we see refined centerpieces made with eucalyptus, tapered candles, and gold touches in the candle holders and flatware. Even the napkins had a touch of eucalyptus creating a very polished look for this June wedding!

If there are two things the south loves, they are ‘love’ itself, and DOLLY. Checkout this incredible Groom’s cake of Dolly by Tis So Sweet Cakery. This was absolutely iconic and so fun!

Tis So Sweet Cakery also created their wedding cake as a 3 tiered white cake with pastel pink flowers throughout each tier. The hints of gold tied in perfectly with the table settings. This cake was to die for!

Wedding Reception Highlights

Following dinner, Cassie and Josh cut their cakes ready to be served to their guests! Anybody else hungry looking at these yummy cakes?

The Bride and Groom chose to have their First Dance to “Cover Me Up” by Morgan Wallen. The love these two have is radiating!

Cassie and her father decided to have their Father/Daughter dance to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. All smiles here!

Josh and his mom shared their Mother/Son dance to “Her Little Man” by Jami Grooms, so sweet!

Let’s hear it for the Dancing Queen herself!

The Sauer family have a tradition called the “P-pot”. Within the P-pot are beer and pretzels, and you are to take a sip and pass. This celebratory tradition has been in the Sauer family for years, and will be passed down to future generations!

As the night comes to an end, family and friends lined up outside the venue with sparklers to send The Sauers on their way! What an awesome day, and even better night!

It was such a pleasure for Cassie and Josh to choose us to help them make sure their wedding day dream came true! We absolutely loved getting to share in your celebration of love and we wish you and your family nothing but happiness!
