Today’s wedding recap is about the lovely couple, Chasity and Owen. They got married on July 7, 2017 at The Barn at Sycamore Farms. It was a beautiful day and we were so grateful to be part of it!

Getting Ready

Chasity and her bridesmaids began their hair (done by Yinka Brandy Nunoo) and their makeup (done by Lucy Amua-Sekyi) to start out the day in the gorgeous bridal room at the venue. By the time that they were all through, everyone looked stunning.

Owen and his groomsmen got ready on the opposite side of the venue in the man cave to be sure they didn’t run into each other before the walk down the aisle.

Wedding Party

Chasity had two lovely bridesmaids that stood with her on their wedding day, and Owen had three of his friends stand with him. They were such a lovely group of people that had such a heart and support for Chasity and Owen.

Ceremony

For the ceremony, Chasity and her father drove up in a carriage and walked across a beautiful bridge to walk down the aisle. Chasity walked down the aisle with a beautiful white, lace umbrella and a gorgeous bouquet.

The ceremony was decorated beautifully with a wooden alter draped in white with greenery and white rose garland. It was very simple and elegant. The venue in Arrington, TN was a perfect fit for a nice summer wedding.

The ceremony was very sweet, and after they said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife, they went back out on the carriage for a moment to themselves to celebrate.

Reception Details

The reception was beautiful with mint and silvers and a fairy tale inspiration theme. The sweetheart table was absolutely perfect with a mint linen and lace overlay. It had mint colored rose floating candles on the table and they sat at a beige colored couch together. The reception was very elegant and exactly the look they were going for.

The tables were decorated with white Cinderella carriages that had hydrangeas and pink roses spilling out of them. Other tables had candelabras topped off with an elegant arrangement of flowers. The clear glass plates and silver napkins pulled the whole look together.

Reception

The couple entered into the reception to a special song and a surprise by the groom with a live trumpet. Chasity was so excited when she saw him.

After the grand entrance, the couple set out to the dance floor for their first dance. Soon after the buffet opened, and everyone enjoyed some delicious food provided by Chef Penelope. Then, the toasts began. Several of their loved ones shared meaningful toasts that meant so much to the couple. There were so many happy tears! They also cut their stunning four tiered cake done by Publix, which was followed by the lighting of a unity candle with their parents and the special dances.

Grand Exit

After the reception concluded, the couple was sent off with light up balloons and drove off in their getaway car from Nashville Wedding Cars.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Chasity and Owen, and we were so grateful for all of the incredible vendors that helped make their day perfect!
