On May 28, 2016 the Vision in White Events team got the honor of helping Courtney and Brad create their dream wedding at the West End United Methodist Church.
Courtney’s beautiful wedding day began at The Hilton Garden Inn Vanderbilt, where she and her six bridesmaids spent the morning doing their hair and makeup, reminiscing of all of their favorite memories, and sharing the stories of how they all met and became a part of this special wedding.
The groomsmen finished up their round of golf and celebrated the day with a toast before heading to take their photos.
The Groomsmen had some tricks up their sleeves, sporting funky geometric socks that accented their vibrant ties.
At 3:30, the bride was walked down the gleaming marble aisle, escorted by her father, at the West End United Methodist Church.
The bridal party wore strapless Bondi Blue floor length dresses, matching with the groomsmen and held enchanting bouquets filled with reds and purples, adding a gorgeous contrast to their dresses.
The bride supported a gorgeous icy white bouquet of peonies and garden roses that served as a contrast to her bridesmaid bouquets. Her jewelry consistent of an elegant string of pearls.
The reception was held at The Loveless Barn and included the bride and groom’s closest friends and family. The decor featured delicate string lights that illuminated the ivory table clothes and highlighted the coordination of the napkins to the wedding parties attire.
They celebrated their guests with personalized matches to ignite their sparkler send off to conclude the evening. In order to add a special touch to their guest book, every guest highlighted their favorite Bible verse to be shared for years to come with the bride and groom.
Their menu, provided by The Loveless Barn, consisted of a traditional southern pallet, beautifully written on black chalkboards with golden accents.
It was a special time of love and laughter as the first dance, mother and son, and father and daughter dance swept across the dance floor!
All the guests got to be a part of the laughter and memories during the toasts by the best man and maid of honor. There may have even been some Disney tributes with a little “Hakuna Matata”.
And everyone got to satisfy their sweet tooth with this charming cake! There is a background story here. From what we gathered, Courtney was in a bad accident involving a deer when the 2 first met and Brad didn’t leave her side in the hospital while she recovered. She knew he was a keeper after that.
We feel so honored to have been a part of this spectacular event to celebrate Courtney and Brad and wish them a long and happy marriage!
