It was a very cool, snowy day on January 14, 2018, when Courtney and Kevin came together to say their “I Do’s” in front of friends and family at Long Hollow Gardens. The Vision in White team was very thankful that Courtney and Kevin wanted us to help plan their special wedding! We want to wish them a very happy ever after!
Getting Ready
Courtney and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting pampered with the help from Quinn and Regan Rogers who generously did their hair and makeup for the big day. After getting all of their beauty touches complete, the girls were ready to step into their beautiful blush, pink dresses. Courtney’s bridesmaids were so happy for her and could not wait for Kevin to see her. She looked so elegant in her simple, yet romantic dress that her mom helped her get into. She chose to not wear a veil and replace it with this gorgeous headpiece. Who needs a veil with that headpiece?!
The bride-to-be took some time after getting photos with her bridesmaids to get bridal portraits taken by the wonderful Bree of Bree Fish Photography. Courtney looks like a model and that fur coat is to die for!
Kevin and his groomsmen wasted no time and got into their midnight blue suits that were perfectly paired with a black tie and a matching pocket square. When you look this sharp, there is no need for a boutonniere. Kevin wanted to add a personal touch with a statement watch that made his look complete.
The bride and her family took some time before the ceremony to get these sweet and memorable pictures. Look how cute!!
Ceremony
Courtney and Kevin chose to save their first look for the ceremony, and just look at their faces! Can you feel the love these two share for one another?! The emotion of the day was even shared by their guests.
The bride and groom shared their vows with one another as the guests watched how happy the two are together.
The time had come that everyone had waited for. The KISS!
We now present as husband and wife, Courtney and Kevin!
Bride and Groom Photos
Since Courtney and Kevin waited to see each other at the ceremony, they needed to get some photos together. These intimate photos were taken of the bride and groom before the reception started. Courtney and Kevin are definitely in love and very photogenic! They are made to be in front of the camera.
The bride and groom’s rings are so timeless and beautiful with Courtney’s being rose gold, and Kevin’s being solid gold. Kevin did a great job picking Courtney’s ring!
Reception Details
The lights were dim and set a romantic feel for the reception. Candles and arrangements of flowers and greenery decorated the tables to have a simple feel. The gold trimmed plates made for an elegant evening for the guests.
Wedding Reception
Courtney and Kevin started off the reception with their first dance. Courtney’s father welcomed the guests to the reception and thanked them for being there for Courtney and Kevin. Dinner was served after Kevin’s father had a blessing for the couple and the food. The guests may have been full from dinner, but who doesn’t have room for dessert?! The cake was simple and delicious!
Guests were wiping tears away after watching the father/daughter and mother/son dances. They continued the party and danced the night away. The bride and groom were off to celebrate a lifetime of love and happiness with one more kiss through a tunnel of their favorite people.
We want to thank Courtney and Kevin for letting us be a part of their wedding day! We could not have made this such a special day without the help from these wonderful vendors:
