For today’s wedding recap, we will be looking at Emily and James’ wonderful classic chapel ceremony and stunning Nashville Parthenon reception.
Emily and her eleven gorgeous bridesmaids got pampered and prepped at the couple’s AirBNB in adorable white and blue hydrangea robes.
We love seeing the bridesmaids get the first glimpse of the bride in her dress!
The groom getting spiffy before he gets a first look at his bride. The white suit is the perfect look for him.
The couple met for their first look in Centennial Park in downtown Nashville. The gorgeous trees and ponds provided the perfect backdrop for Emily and James’ adorable rendezvous!
Emily and James exchanged personal letters as heartfelt professions of love before making their way to the ceremony.
Emily’s exquisite A-line gown was layer upon layer of gorgeous white lace, with a bronze and diamond pin securing her veil.
Once the bride and groom had their time for photos, the rest of the wedding party joined in. The Parthenon is a great place for any kind of photos, but looks especially great with the colors of this wedding party. The girls wore long blush pink dresses, while the guys complimented them in classic black tuxedos.
Look at this little cutie making a jet down the aisle!
The look on the groom’s face as his bride comes down the aisles is always one of the greatest scenes!
The petals and candles down the aisle added for the perfect elegance that they were looking for. Emily and James shared a heart felt ceremony with their family and friends present and it was wonderful to see.
The bride and groom had some more photos taken after the ceremony and then the wedding party joined in.
The wedding party gathered outside of the ceremony venue, the Scarritt Bennett Center, during the golden hour for portraits.
The wedding party jumped in a trolley to head to the reception and celebrate the big event!
Emily and James’ gift table featured framed photos of other couples in their family and a photo album of all of their favorite photos of the two of them.
The evening started with the bride and groom sharing their first dance, followed by the special parent dances. We always love to see if they’re going to opt for a nice slow song or speed it up and get the crowd laughing.
James and his mother selected a rocking jitter-bug tune for their mother-son dance! Such a fun memory!
The scrumptious cakes by Nashville Sweets reflected the bride’s love of timeless beauty and the groom’s love of the Cubs!
When it was time to send off the newlyweds, the guests grabbed some glow sticks and wished the Mr. and Mrs. on their way!
Everyone here at Vision in White wishes Emily and James a beautiful life and a blessed marriage, and thank them for letting us be a part of their lovely day!
