Our Nashville Wedding Recap today will be looking at Jaclynn and Brock’s classic celebration. The bride and groom wanted a ceremony venue that reflected their families’ religious traditions and a reception space that let their love of all things country shine through. Cathedral of the Incarnation and Cannery ONE fit the bill perfectly! Let’s take a closer look at their sweet day.
Getting Ready
Jaclynn and her bridesmaids had a morning full of fun getting hair and make up done in their suite, complete with with silk robes.
Look at that dress! Jaclynn’s fit and flare gown was gorgeously detailed with floral lace and beading.
And of course the dapper groom in his classic, white tie, three piece suit.
Ceremony
The couple met around the corner from each other for a “first touch” and to exchange sweet notes before they become husband and wife.
Floral details by Fresh by CarryAnn used a white and green color palette, and the bride and groom’s personal touches included white roses, ranunculus and peonies.
These little cuties came down the aisle right before everyone got to see the beautiful bride. Isn’t the train on her dress just stunning?
Following the I Do’s and a smooch, the bride and groom headed back up the aisle to have a moment alone and celebrate.
Wedding Party Portraits
Jaclynn’s bridesmaids’ dresses had matching necklines to her gown, and were champagne with ornately patterned beadwork.
Brock’s groomsmen wore matching black suits with greenery boutonnieres and champagne bow ties that matched the bridesmaids’ dresses. Mixed together as a group, they looked wonderful.
Reception Details
All you need is love, but desserts add a little a sweetness to this beautiful celebration. Cakes, cupcakes and Tennessee State cookies by Nashville Sweets provided a lovely variety of sweet confections. And the flowers cascading on this cake made it stunning!
Golden calligraphy wooden lettering and chalkboard signs directed guests during the reception, and provided a rustic flair to the decorations.
Tall vased bouquets, candles in assorted glass holders, and golden lanterns with white rose wreathes created romantic centerpieces.
Personalized koozies for the bride and groom and boot shaped koozies for the guests brought a tiny bit of country, without changing the classic, elegant atmosphere.
Calligraphy paperware elegantly illustrated the table assignments and menu.
Sweetheart table for the new Mr. and Mrs. for a little privacy during their meal. Don’t those salads look yummy??
Reception
The bride and groom entered the reception to visit with their guests. They shared their first dance as a married couple and then had a special moment with their mother and father on the dance floor.
The cake cutting opened up the dessert for the guests while the toasts brought everyone some laughter. The gold rimmed toasting flutes brought the decor together nicely.
Brock is definitely head over boots for his beautiful bride as he went in for the garter.
Everyone here at Vision in White wishes a long, happy marriage for Jaclynn and Brock and are so thankful to have been a part of their beautiful day!
