April weddings kick off spring! To “spring” into the new the season, Kate and Sean had their beautiful wedding on April 10th, 2021. After a couple of 2020 postponements and an official marriage the year before, these two were ready to celebrate with friends and family.
Getting Ready
As they ladies prepared for the big day in their matching robes at Kate’s home, the guys prepped their details at the Cool Springs Marriott. Peep the brides cute slip ons, she thought ahead for the night of dancing to come.

The guys celebrated with a quick cheers after they were all ready to head to the church!

Fathers First look
Before Kate and Sean shared their first look, Kate and her dad took a special moment with one another allowing Kate to show off her beautiful dress. His reaction is one of the best!

The tears say it all. How precious.

First look
Moving into the bride and groom’s first look and all you can see is how much love they have for each other. The ear to ear smile on Sean’s face really says it all!

Bride and Groom Portraits
It’s that time in the blog that you’ve all been waiting for, the bride and groom portraits. This church has so many beautiful backgrounds and Kate and Sean sure make them look great.

Kate’s dress was such a pretty a-line style with lace on the bodice trickling down the gown. The open mesh lace back was that extra pop of romance!

Sean had the pop of fun with his polka dot tie contrasted with the dark charcoal suit.

Wedding Party Photos
Keeping it light and airy the wedding party complemented each other well with their light blue throughout, it was the perfect spring transition color.

The guys and their custom inserts, so fun and such a great way for the guys to feel special too!

Wedding Ceremony Details
The ceremony was held at Brentwood United Methodist Church, beautiful flowers designed by a family friend with flowers from Kate’s grandmothers garden decorated the altar to help shape the ceremony’s space.

Wedding Ceremony Highlights
Kate and her dad prepare to walk down the aisle, she looks like a queen with her beautiful long train.

The kiss that seals the deal!

Wedding Reception Details
Entering into the Cannery Ballroom there were two beautiful flower arrangements that helped frame the archway. The lounge furniture was the perfect accent for the reception space and color story that Kate and Sean had.

They had an amazing homage to the mother of the bride and her wedding. Kate’s parents had a giraffe made of florals to serve as a focal point for a serving table at their wedding so, Kate took that idea as a way to honor her mother at her own wedding reception. She incorporated the giraffe to be a greeting for the guests and a reminder of the whimsical nature of weddings, especially during a pandemic.

The sweets table helped display the couples favors for their guests to take home and enjoy. The cake was so pretty with a lace like appliqué that mimicked her mother’s wedding dress and the grooms cake looks so yummy with a chocolate drizzle.

Wedding Reception Highlights
Kate and Sean shared their first dance to “Good as You” by Kane Brown sung by their band, Emerald Empire Band to kick off the dance floor.

Kate and her dad danced to “Father and Daughter” by Paul Simon sharing many laughs and hugs.

Sean and his mom danced together to “93 Million Miles” by Jason Mraz.

In between the dancing it was time to cut the cake, because of how pretty the cake was it should almost be a crime but, hey that’s what they are made for and it was delicious!

Ending the night in style with pom pom’s and a getaway car! What a fun exit for the newlyweds!
