Nashville Wedding Recap – Katherine & Zach

Katherine and Zach declared their love for one another at their elegant wedding on a beautiful March day. The two got married at the gorgeous Wilburn Street Studio venue in Nashville, Tennessee. Zach and Katherine’s wedding was packed full of laughter, love, and, of course, desserts! Keep reading to learn more about this charming wedding day and the couple behind it.

Getting Ready

When the special day rolled around for Katherine and Zach, the couple started out the festivities by getting ready for the occasion. Both Katherine and Zach got ready at the Wilburn Street Studio, where their ceremony and reception would later be held.

It really doesn’t get more elegant than Katherine’s wedding dress. This long, fitted dress was a spectacular mix of traditional and modern styles. The traditional feel of the gown comes largely from the sweetheart neckline and delicate shoulder straps, while the modern element shines through with the beautiful lace detailing on the skirt.

Katherine looked like the picture of beauty as she put the finishing touches on her bridal look. Our bride also accessorized the look with a perfect bouquet of white and light pink flowers. All floral arrangements and designs for the wedding were provided by the exceptionally talented Fresh Weddings by CarryAnn.

Then it was time for groom Zach to put his wedding look together. The groom wore a fitted black suite and light pink tie on his special day. The tie showcased a subtle pattern that added a unique and fun element to the look.

Zach kept it classic with his boutonniere, sporting a single white rose with some greenery for some added color. This white rose looked wonderful paired along side the grooms pink tie and deep red pocket square.

First Look

With the pair now ready for the event, it was time for the two to share a much anticipated first look together. With Zach’s back to her, Katherine made her way to her groom, the excitement clear between these two love birds!

It was nothing but love and smiles when Zach saw his beautiful bride for the first time.

Yep, it’s official, these two are the sweetest!

Bride and Groom Photos

Then it was time for Katherine and Zach to sneak away for some bride and groom pictures! This picture is one of our personal favorites. Not only is it a gorgeous shot of this stunning bride and groom, but the background is also a show stopper. Murals like this one were located around the event space and made for some awesome and memorable pics!

The couple also had a very special visitor join them during their photo shoot. The pair’s daughter, Siobhan, wore a cute as can be white dress and floral crown for her parents big day.

This family is just so precious!

Just when we thought these two couldn’t get any cuter, Zach surprised his bride with socks showcasing her face on them! Now that’s love!

Wedding Party Photos

Then it was time for the bridal party to get in on the picture taking action. The ladies kicked things off, each of them looking stunning in their mix of blush and forest green dresses.

Then it was the guys turn. The group looked dashing in their mix of blue and black suits, each man accenting his wedding outfit with a different pocket square. These pocket squares added so much personality and fun to the guy’s looks!

Okay, now everyone smile! Katherine and Zach are getting married!

Wedding Ceremony Details

Not only was the venue a perfect backdrop for this couples classic vibe, the floral design and gold detailing really brought the space to life. This simple design of greenery and white roses made the ceremony feel completely romantic!

Flickering candle light decorated the sides of the room and made the atmosphere really feel warm and inviting for guests.

Finally, guests were asked to take a moment before the ceremony to sign the couples guest book at their welcome table. Katherine and Zach decorated the table with some adorable pictures of the two of them, and their daughter, .

Wedding Ceremony Highlights

This beautiful ceremony started out with gorgeous bride Katherine walking down the aisle to her soon to be husband. That smile on her face says it all!

After exchanging vows with one another, and saying “I do,” it was time for Zach to kiss his bride!

The newly weds, Mr. and Mrs. Blair, made their way down the aisle after the ceremony with their daughter in their arms. Does it get any sweeter than this family?

Wedding Reception Details

Following the ceremony, Katherine and Zach invited their guests to a reception also at the Wilburn Street Studio. The Blair’s went for a classic look when it came to their reception decor, sticking with a largely cream and white color scheme and accenting it all with light pink napkins and gold rimmed candle holders.

We are in love with these napkin knots! This design is so simple to do and looks amazing on any table design. The knot adds a bit of texture to the dinner plates and makes for an interesting and put together table look.

Of course we have to take a minute to talk about the Blair’s sweet heart table too! This table is so gorgeous, with flickering tea light candles, plenty of greenery, and beautiful white roses. The table really was the perfect backdrop for the newly wed’s special evening.

The Blair’s chose a stunning, single tiered cake with white frosting for their wedding cake. The cake was made to be the picture of elegance with fresh flowers that added the perfect pop of color for the dessert. This cake was provided by the talented Nashville Sweets.

Speaking of dessert… the couple also chose to have additional yummy options for their guests to enjoy. These delicious mini donuts were a huge hit and looked cute as can be on the dessert table!

Wedding Reception Highlights

It’s party time! The newly wed’s made their grand entrance into their reception as their friends and family cheered for the new Mr. and Mrs. Blair!

Zach and Katherine started their reception with their sweet first dance. The two slow danced to the song, “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Starr.

The Blair’s had a special dance partner for some of their first dance too! Siobhan couldn’t have been happier to join in on the fun!

Cheers to the Blair’s! Some of Katherine and Zach’s closest friends gave speeches for the newly weds during the reception, wishing them well in their new life together.
