Held at The Estate at Cherokee Dock, Kim and Brendan’s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale! With a love of Disney, Kim and Brendan chose to add in some fun touches throughout their wedding day. This unique touch really gave the event a personal feel! Keep reading to see all of the special details that made this wedding so wonderful!
To start the day, Kim and her bridesmaids got ready and had their hair and makeup done by Leslie Ellis Hair and Makeup. Bride Kim wore her hair down and with loose waves on her wedding day and chose a bold lip color to complete her bridal look.
Kim and Brendan incorporated their love for all things Disney in their wedding by adding some special little touches throughout their day. One of which included adding some well-placed hidden Micky’s to the florals for the wedding! All floral arrangements for the event were provided by Vision in White Events.
This dress is just…wow! With gorgeous floral bead work, this dress was truly something special. Kim also chose to add a ball gown style skirt to the gown for the ceremony, which she chose to remove at the reception, giving her the best of both worlds on her wedding day.
Kim’s bridesmaids got to share an incredibly special and joy-filled moment when they saw Kim in her dress for the first time.
Then it was groom Brendan’s turn to get ready for the big day. Being in the army, Brendan wore his uniform for his wedding day.
Rather than see each other for the first time at the ceremony, Kim and Brendan decided to do a special first look before! This gave the bride and groom the chance to spend some special moments together before they got married.
It was nothing but love when these two saw one another for the first time. So sweet!
Bride and Groom Photos
Then it was time to take some stunning photos of the bride and groom! The grounds at The Estate at Cherokee Dock provided the perfect backdrop with a beautiful lake and stunning trees that were even changing color. Who doesn’t love a fall wedding?!
Kim and Brendan certainly couldn’t forget about their pup on their wedding day! There is nothing better than dogs in suits!
Wow, this photo is something special! With the gorgeous couple and the stunning lake behind them, wedding pictures don’t get better than this!
Those are the faces of two people eager to get married!
Wedding Party Photos
Then it was time to gather the wedding party for some photos of their own with the bride and groom. Kim and her bridesmaids posed first under the gorgeous fall trees. The wine colored bridesmaids dresses were the perfect color choice for this fall wedding.
Then it was groom Brendan’s time to take a picture with his groomsmen! Those of the groomsmen who were also in the military wore their uniforms, while those that were not wore black suits with wine colored ties to match the bridesmaids.
This is a group that’s excited to see their friends get married!
Wedding Ceremony Highlights
Brendan and Kim’s wedding was filled with many fun and heartfelt moments. Groom Brendan kicked of the ceremony by walking down the aisle with his adorable dog beside him!
Don’t have a flower girl, why not have two flower dudes instead? Joshua Granshaw and Vincent Manglona absolutely crushed their flower dude duties and gave Kim an entrance no one would forget.
Then it was all eyes on Kim as she made her way down the aisle with her father, Martin Dossett.
During the ceremony Brendan and Kim exchanged meaningful vows to one another in front of all their guests.
And, just like that, Kim and Brendan became Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman!
Wedding Reception Details
Following the wedding ceremony, guests were invited to celebrate with the couple at their reception. At the reception, guests were asked to first sign the couple’s guest book. With a love of all things Disney, the couple chose to pay tribute to one of their favorite Disney movies, “Up!” with their guest book.
Brendan and Kim’s cake, which was provided by Olive Branch, was truly romantic with white buttercream frosting and dazzling floral accents to bring in a pop of color. The castle inspired cake topper tied in the couples love for Disney in a unique, yet elegant way.
This reception was truly like stepping into a fairytale. The space came to life with amazing string lights and a spectacular chandelier
With a marble charger and light grey plate, these place settings were perfect for this elegant wedding reception. The satin navy napkin adds a pop of color to the settings and ties in the deep blue of the table cloths.
Wedding Reception Highlights
This group had so much fun at Kim and Brendan’s wedding reception! To kick things off Brendan and Kim’s friends welcomed them into the reception by raising their swords for the couple to walk through.
Who doesn’t love starting a reception off with a shot for the happy couple?
Following dinner, the couple sat at their stunning sweetheart table and listened as their loved ones and friends gave toasts to their new marriage!
Then it was time to cut the cake! Would it be an army wedding if they didn’t forgo the traditional knife and use a sword instead?
Things got a little wild as groom Brendan smashed cake onto his new brides face.
But it was all love when it was time for the first dance. The newly wed’s danced to the song, “Spend It With You” by Kodaline as their friends and family watched.
Kim then took to the dance floor with her dad and danced to the song “Butterfly Fly Away” by Alexander Ruwe.
This sweet moment was captured between Brendan and his mom following their dance together to the song, “Simple Man (acoustic)” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
And who could forget the MONEY DANCE!
After a bit of dancing, it was time for Kim to toss her bouquet! The girls gathered on the dance floor and fought for the flowers to the song, “Move B****” by Ludacris. It was definitely a moment to be remembered!
