On November 11, 2017, Lauren and Michael continued their love story after saying “I Do” while being surrounded by close friends and family. It was such a beautiful fall day that we were honored to be a part of. Their wedding was filled with love and happiness that will continue to shine through their happily ever after!
Getting Ready
As Lauren began to get ready for her big day, she took a moment to herself to read beautifully written letters from her friends and family. This was such a sweet moment for Lauren, and she will treasure these letters that were put into a keepsake scrapbook.
The girls were having the time of their life while getting ready at Brentwood Country Club. Lauren had gifted her bridesmaids with comfy lounge clothes to wear as they got pampered by Shani Gailbreath. Shani did a great job with hair and makeup for the girls to be ready to walk down the aisle.
Lauren’s shoes complimented the blush tint in her dress that was covered with elegant white lace. The pop of burgundy in the bride’s bouquet matched perfectly with the bridesmaid’s dresses.
With the help of her mom, Lauren was ready to show her dad how stunning she looked. He was just in awe of how beautiful she was and couldn’t believe his baby girl was getting married. We love these intimate moments that were shared between the mother and father and the bride! Lauren had gifted her dad with a tie that was embroidered with a sweet message. She wanted to make sure her dad knew she loved him very much!
First Look
After everyone had finished getting ready, the bride and groom were ready to do their first look! It was so sweet how Lauren went up behind Michael and grabbed his hands. Michael could not hold back after seeing how beautiful Lauren looked, and he went in for a kiss. They were so happy that Erin Turner captured this sweet and intimate moment.
Wedding Party
Now it was time for the wedding party to join in. The bridesmaids looked amazing in their long, burgundy dresses. The groomsmen also looked handsome in their black tuxedos with burgundy ties that complemented the bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly! It was amazing to see the wedding party being so excited for the happy couple and their future together! We loved how classic the bouquet and boutonniere went with the fall colors in the dresses and ties.
Ceremony Details
Lauren and Michael had their ceremony at Christ Presbyterian Church. The entry table had a unique guest book with photos of the couple to be written in with sweet messages from the guests to the bride and groom. Lauren and Michael really wanted their guests to be present during the ceremony, so they requested the guests to unplug and turn off all devices so they could really it. As guests were escorted to their seats, they saw how elegant the ceremony was with the aisle being lined in arrangements filled with roses, hydrangeas, and carnations that matched the girl’s bouquets.
Ceremony
Now it was time everyone had been waiting for! The groom was in awe when he saw his bride walking down the aisle by her father’s side, and so was the bride when she saw her groom waiting for her at the end of the aisle.
The ceremony was beautiful and had a touch of tradition with the unity candle that was engraved with their wedding date. Love filled the air when the bride and groom exchanged their vows for one another. Lauren and Michael were pronounced husband and wife and sealed their vows with a kiss!
Reception Details
Once the ceremony was over, the guests headed to the reception that was held at Brentwood Country Club. As they walked into the reception area, the guests continued to feel the love between Lauren and Michael when they saw pictures of the couple and read the timeline of their love story. If there were any guests that had not signed the guest book before the ceremony, they had the opportunity to sign it before the reception started. It was not hard for guests to find their assigned table on this beautiful board. Lauren and Michael wanted to make sure their guests knew how much they loved and appreciated them, so they gifted them with a custom designed organic bag of coffee.
The tables were decorated with little arrangements of flowers in gold vases and candlelit lanterns that set for a romantic night at Brentwood Country Club. The cake was made by Nashville Sweets and had the bride and grooms names as the cake topper. They didn’t want any guests to miss out on sweets so they had a table full of delicious donuts that catered to everyone’s preference.
Reception
Lauren and Michael started the reception off with their first dance. They shared such a sweet moment together as they stared into each other’s eyes. The bride and groom then listened to their friends and family as they spoke about all of the wonderful memories they had of Lauren and Michael.
After dinner was served, Lauren and Michael cut the cake and drank champagne. Then it was time for the very emotional father/daughter and mother/son dance, there was not a dry eye in the room. It was time for guests to get out on the dance floor and bust a move. Nashville Party Authority did a great job at playing a mix of songs as they danced the night away.
Lauren and Michael headed off to their happily ever after with the help of their guests, bubbles and of course, a kiss!
