October 15, 2016 wasn’t just another ordinary day for Michaela and JT, it was the day they would become husband and wife. The Green Door Gourmet proved to be the perfect rustic setting to say their “I Do’s” and begin their lives together!
Getting Ready
The Green Door Gourmet recently opened a beautifully designed bridal cottage and Michaela and the girls were some of the first to give it a spin! They donned matching robes and blasted Beyonce while Good Sister Bad Sister Boutique beautified the ladies for a couple hours. After that, it was time for them to put on their dresses and begin photos.
With waterproof mascara and her makeup crew handy, Michaela took a moment to read JT’s sweet words to her on their wedding day!
JT waited patiently for his bride to finish getting ready so he could see her all dolled up in her wedding dress. It didn’t hurt that there was plenty of college football happening to keep the boys occupied! His mother pinned on his boutonniere made with a burgundy dahlia and ivory spray rose.
First Look
Then it was time for the moment they both were anxiously waiting for all day: the first look. The couple shared an intimate moment alone in the loft of the Green Door Gourmet barn while Kristin Fields captured their love.
How beautiful is this setting?!
The Wedding Party
It was time for the rest of the wedding party to come join the festivities and take photos with the bride and groom. The girls wore elegant blush dresses that were perfectly complimented by the bouquets from The Flower Shop.
The navy suits and burgundy ties that the guys wore brought the whole look together and made for a good looking wedding party!

That bouquet!
Ceremony
Michaela made her entrance through the vintage doors with wreaths of cotton and wheat. She and her father smiled the entire way down the aisle.
JT and Michaela said “I Do” under a ceremony arbor decked out by handmade decor from the bride herself and her amazing mother!
Reception Details
Koozie favors for the guests and a photo booth guestbook were the perfect entertainment during the cocktail hour. Assorted cupcakes from Crumb de la Crumb (ummm yum!) covered the cake table along with the small cake for Michaela and JT to cut.
Reception
Tasty dinner was eaten, the cake was cut and the dancing began!
At the end of the night, it was time to send the newlyweds off in style with sparklers and a smooch.
Michaela and JT, we wish you all the best in your adventure as husband and wife. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your wedding day!
