Nestled in a garden just outside Nashville, Tennessee, Michele and Meredith’s outdoor wedding took place on a perfect autumn Sunday – September 25, 2016. The Vision in White team had the honor of uniting these lovely ladies in a stunning yet simple southern wedding. Read on to see these “I do” details of Michele and Meredith’s enchanted day!
Michele chose a gown fit for a lady in love! Her gown featured an intricately detailed bodice, a gem encrusted waist, and a classic taffeta skirt. She was truly a vision in white!
White pearls and a hairpiece complimented Michele’s clean and elegant style. She’s got just enough bling, but the best accessory is yet to come, the ring!
Fabulous florals by Forget Me Not Designs added to the fresh and clean look. The bundle of sage green leaves between white flowers not only made the day bridal, but blooming!
Right on schedule at 2:30 PM, the breathtaking brides finally met for a pre-wedding first look and photos with AshMill Photography.
Meredith complimented her bride in a posh slate gray suit, white blouse, and (to add a unique touch) white Converse sneakers.
Both the ceremony and reception were tucked away at the peaceful Long Hollow Gardens, just outside of the bustling city of Nashville. The warm and sunny southern day set the scene for a cozy ceremony with only the closest of friends and family.
Handmade signs are a Vision in White favorite that add a customized, personal touch. Decor like this can be kept as mementos of the special day, showing that a wedding is more than a day, it’s the beginning of a life together.
The wedding party, dressed in mint blue, served as Michele and Meredith’s something blue. Overall, the intimate gathering was as sweet as could be!
The wedding ceremony was sweet and moving. The couple shared genuine vows of love that will last a lifetime. The intimate garden setting set the tone for tears of joy and the celebration of years of happiness to come!
With two “I do”s and one kiss, the newlyweds were officially married, and able to dance the night away!
Just across the garden grounds, the celebration continued at the Long Hollow Greenhouse. The greenhouse created a natural elegance and earthy charm surrounding guests with trees lining the room, round tables set with fresh flowers, a cobblestone dance floor, and the moonlit glow of the sky above!
The simply elegant feel of the day was carefully evident in every detail. Shining glass tableware, and flawless fresh linens, accented by the glow of pure white candles set the mood of exquisite romance and luxury without the frill and fuss of overly ornate decor.
The mint blue and white color scheme accented the reception without overpowering the classic night. The cake, made by Nashville Sweets, was delicious as could be. From decor to desserts, not a single detail was overlooked!
The party starts promptly at 6 PM when Michele and Meredith make a joyous entrance. The couple is all smiles on the happiest day of their lives! Their adoration for each other lit up the room as they took the dance floor for their first dance to “All of Me” by John Legend.
DJ Mad Dog Productions kept the dance floor lively throughout the night, including a father/daughter dance and raising the roof with more friends and family.
Guests raised a glass of champagne poured by Hamilton Bartending as the cake was cut. The duo had a blast with an endless array of delicious bite-sized desserts!
With a sparkling exit, Michele and Meredith lit up the night as they bid their guests a glittering good bye.
Congratulations to Michele and Meredith! May your marriage be as fun and carefree as your wedding day. We admire your precious love for each other, and for everyone you meet! We wish you a lifetime of pure love, devotion, and joy. Thank you for inviting us to share in your special day.
