Sara and Hanlon assembled a beautiful Nashville wedding this past November. The couple tied the knot at City Winery and held their reception there as well.
Getting Ready
Once Sara and her bridesmaids were finished with hair and makeup, the girls gathered around in their monogrammed outfit to capture the morning’s moment.
Sara’s beautiful wedding ring was hard to not notice as she held her wine glass during her prep.
All the elements that would soon complete Sara’s wedding day look were effortlessly stunning as they awaited to be purposed. Sara’s dress had lace short sleeves, a thin silk ribbon around the waist, and a light pink undertone beneath the tulle. To add a touch of twinkle to her ensemble, Sara’s shoes have an intricate crystal design on the back of each.
Meanwhile, Hanlon was buttoning his sleeve cuffs and completing his look. Once he was ready to go, a few portraits were captured.
Once the dress was on and the veil was added, Sara was also complete in her wedding day look and had her entire appearance captured in a portrait.
First Look
Sara and Hanlon decided to do a First Look at their venue, City Winery. When Hanlon turned around and saw his soon-to-be-wife for the first time that day, he couldn’t help but contain his excitement and happiness. Seeing how pleased he was brought tears of joy to Sara’s eyes.
Wedding Party Photos
The wedding party traveled to Cumberland Park to get pictures of everyone together. The black dresses and suits made Sara’s dress pop out even more.
The entertaining couple spiced up their wedding party photos with matching shades for all of the wedding party to wear — how fun!
Bride and Groom Photos
The couple then had many photos taken together to capture the two of them on their big day.
Hanlon showed his affection towards his breathtaking soon-t0-be-wife.
Sara and Hanlon posed in front of the many wine barrels and glasses that City Winery entails.
One more loving kiss was shared to conclude their couple’s photos.
Ceremony Details
Sara and Hanlon had their ceremony details printed on programs for each guest to use and follow along with.
Gold chiavari chairs and lots of greenery provided beautiful accents to their ceremony.
Wine corks were crafted into “S + H” and were displayed right above the card table.
Wedding Ceremony
The cute little ring bearer needed some guidance as he made his way down the aisle. Following his lead, Sara and her father walked arm in arm as they made their way up to the front.
Sara and Hanlon faced each other and held each other’s hands as the officiant led the ceremony.
After the vows, Sara and Hanlon sealed the deal with a passionate kiss.
Reception Details
For the venue at City Winery, white draping with a dash of greenery cascaded down the doorway of the reception’s entrance. Also, a heart-shaped “S + H” light danced on the floor to greet you once you walked through.
Guests were provided with fun drinks at cocktail hour that included stirrers with “S + H” printed at the top.
The gold chiavari chairs made their second appearance at the reception. The chairs were placed at a long wooded table for the wedding party, and at round tables with an ivory linen draping over them for the guests.
Marble coasters with calligraphy helped each guest to their seat. The reception’s dinnerware had gold accents to compliment the chiavari chairs and the wax stamp located on the favor above the dinner menu.
For centerpieces, a flower design with lots of greenery poured over an elevated gold bowl. Candles in glass votives surrounded the centerpiece to bring a warm ambiance to the reception.
The wedding cake was beautiful with 3-tiers, textured polka dots that were more condensed at the top tier and faded out further down the cake. There were also floral accents added to the cake that matched the elements in Sara’s bouquet.
In light of their last name MILLER, Sara and Hanlon used the fun phrase “It’s Miller Time!” for their day. The expression is most notorious from MillerCoors, as their slogan is “It’s Miller Time.”
Additionally, the couple provided their guests with an alternate pair of shoes for more comfort and flexibility for the anticipated night of dancing.
Wedding Reception Highlights
To start the reception off, the full wedding party made a grand entrance. Sara and Hanlon threw on some shades and locked hands for their entrance as Mr. and Mrs. Miller.
With the band performing in the background, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed their dinner. With stomachs and hearts full, the evening proceeded with four sentimental toasts made to the couple.
Next, Sara and Hanlon made the first cut into their stunning wedding cake.
Following the cake cutting, Sara and Hanlon went into their first dance as husband and wife.
Sara and her father embraced each other in a tight hug when their father-daughter dance ended.
Hanlon and his mother performed a very upbeat and joyful dance for their mother-son dance.
With her dancing shoes fitting just right, Sara and Hanlon danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones.
To conclude their magical day, Sara and Hanlon had a grand exit with sparklers after a quick outfit change. Halfway through their exit the couple paused to share one last kiss in front of their guests.
We wish you both the best, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding!
