Nashville Wedding Recap – Sara & Nick

The Reynolds celebrated their nuptials at the St Stephen Catholic Community church. Their lavender touches throughout were so beautiful and the perfect subtle pop of color. Read along to see their lovely wedding day come together!

Getting Ready

Sara’s dress was a stunning fitted gown with the prettiest beaded lace. It had a low back and an intricate lace high neck with the same pretty detailing and a peek-a-boo sweetheart neckline. Her veil had the details around the entire perimeter, an absolutely stunning bride!


The stunning details for the day, from earrings, to the shoes, to the garter, and perfume. Sara had her something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new! She had a gift for each of her bridesmaids and a individual thank you for being a part of her special day!

All her gals in their matching getting ready PJ’s, just so adorable and a perfect match to Sara’s purple details throughout the wedding day. After getting into her dress, slipping into her shoes and finalizing all of the finishing touches, Sara had a bridesmaids reveal!

Nick was dressed in a dark charcoal suit with a light lavender paisley print tie and a pretty purple boutonnière. He looked so handsome!

Father’s First Look

Sara had a first look with her dad, Doug. He was so excited to see his beautiful daughter before the ceremony began.

First Touch

Sara and Nick wanted to keep each other a surprise until the ceremony so, they shared their first touch and letters to one another. This moment was so pure between the two and will be in their memories forever.

Gift Exchange

The two exchanged gifts for each other with hand-written notes! So much love between these two and you can feel it through these pictures.


Wedding Ceremony Highlights

Sara walked to her groom with her father. The smile on her face screams how excited she is to marry her best friend. Nick’s reaction is priceless, joyful tears to marry his beautiful bride.

The kiss seals the deal! Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds are officially married!

Sara and Nick look so good in all of their bride and groom portraits. Sara’s veil fluttered through the wind with her beautiful purple flowers popping against the contrast of her dress and Nick’s suit.

Sara’s hair was tied back in a half up half down with a beautiful sparkly hairpiece, it went well with Nick’s light reflecting tie.

Wedding Party Photos

Sara and Nick’s wedding party was full of their closet friends and family, the ladies wore stunning a-line style dresses in a dusty purple color and the guys wore charcoal suits with a matching purple tie paired with a white rose for their boutonnieres.

The girls bouquets were majority white with hints of purple to vary from Sara’s beautiful mostly purple bouquet.

Wedding Reception Details

Heading into the reception space, guests signed their guestbook that was filled full of Sara and Nick’s engagement photos.

A lavender spring in each of the napkin knots was such a delicate way to add contrast to their place settings. It is so pretty to have the dark purple of the lavender pop against the lighter purple napkin and table linen.

Their cake had an intricate lace-like detailing throughout the tiers with beautiful sugar flowers! The grooms cake was a fun twist on their elegant details!

Wedding Reception Highlights

After their wedding party was introduced, their guests welcomed in the newly married, Sara and Nick as Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds!


As dinner wrapped up, toasts by the Maid of honor, Shelby and Best man Jeff were given to the happy couple. They cut into their stunning cake to enjoy its deliciousness.

Their first dance as a married couple was to “I Get To Love You” by Ruelle, the sweetest moment between the two.

Sara and her dad’s dance was to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland and Nick and his mom shared their dance to “Mother” by Sugarland.


It was time to dance their feet off! Sara, Nick, and their guests danced the night away with only a brief pause to do their bouquet and garter tosses.

One last moment at the end of the night, to share a private last dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. With their very last moment of the evening ending with a lavender toss exit into a vintage 1959 White Bentley!
