Getting Ready
Nell and her bridesmaids all arrived at the wedding’s venue, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, to start their hair and makeup. Nell got her makeup done by R&CO Bridal Beauty and could not have looked more stunning with her soft makeup and side, up-do. They were all so excited!
After hair and makeup, Nell got into her gown and metallic gold heels!
It was then time for Paul to get dressed in his suit and tie with the help of his groomsman. Things were starting to get real!
Paul took some time to himself to read the card from his future wife.
First Look
Paul was now ready to see his gorgeous bride before the ceremony. His reaction was so sweet!
Wedding Party Photos
After the first look, the wedding party got together to take some stunning photos together. Nell’s bridesmaids wore dusty blue, chiffon, floor-length dresses. Each dress had a neckline that catered to each of the girl’s personal style. Their bouquets had pops of pink with white florals that went so well with their dress and the season! Look at those anemones pop!
The groomsmen wore navy blue suits with blue ties, which went perfectly with the bridesmaid’s dresses. The men’s boutonnieres had white florals and also went along with the ladies bouquets. Everyone was so well matched and looked great!
Bride and Groom Photos
Nell and Paul then got a chance to get some more gorgeous photos as a couple around the property of Cheekwood. The scenery and lighting were so stunning and definitely made for some unforgettable photos. You really can’t go wrong at a venue like this.
Nell’s bouquet was full of gorgeous white florals with pops of navy, peach and greenery.
Nell’s dress had a stunning neckline and beautiful lace detailing at the top. She also wore the prettiest earrings that made such a statement and added to her look perfectly.
Ceremony
Nell made her way down the aisle with her father by her side. She could not contain her smile as she looked at her soon-to-be husband!
The couple said “I do” under a stunning arch, which was full of greenery and white roses. The lighting was absolutely perfect! Similar arrangements marked each aisle; everything looked so fresh and beautiful.
One kiss later and Paul and Nell were now husband and wife!
Reception Details
After the ceremony, starry string lights welcomed guests into a stunning and romantic reception at the Cheekwood Frist Courtyard. The venue was so perfect for the feel of the reception under the night sky.
Gold chiavari chairs with white cushions were placed around round tables with ivory detailed table cloths. Each table was topped with a stunning centerpiece of fresh florals that contained hydrangeas, pink roses, and greenery.
Mercury votives were placed alongside a line of fresh greenery on the head table. The most amazing arrangements of florals added great dimension to the table and made the space feel so extravagant.
After dinner, delicious and exciting desserts were served thanks to Chef’s Market!
The couple’s cake complimented all of the florals that had been throughout the entire wedding. Fresh white flowers were placed on each tier of the white frosted cake thanks to Dessert Designs.
The couple had the knife that was used to cut their cake engraved with their names and the date of their special day. This is such a great keepsake to remember such a special moment.
The place cards were simple, done with beautiful calligraphy.
Reception Highlights
It was then time for the newlyweds to join the party for the first time as Mr. and Mrs.!
Before guests could start to enjoy dinner, Nell and Paul listened to a touching blessing and toast from Nell’s dad. The words shared will never be forgotten by the couple!
Nell and Paul then cut their beautiful cake together and enjoyed every last bite of it!
After cutting the cake, Nell and Paul shared their first dance together under the gorgeous night sky and string lights. This was such a touching moment for both Nell and Paul and all of their loved ones to watch.
After the couple’s first dance, Nell had the chance to dance with her dad. Their relationship is such a special thing and this was a memorable moment for the both of them!
Now it was time for everyone to dance the night away! Nell changed into a new, fun dress, which had a sweetheart neckline and amazing beading at the top!
After all of the dancing, the new husband and wife made an exciting exit as their loved ones opened poppers as they walked by. Now its time to start their new lives together!
