Paige and Brian were married at Travellers Rest Plantation on May 29th, 2016. The ceremony took place outside in front of the historic home and the reception was held in the barn. Friends and family gathered for the wedding starting at 5pm.
Paige wore a long white gown with a v-neckline and capped sleeves. The dress included beaded detailing along the neckline. sleeves, and waist. Her long veil created a small train behind her as she walked down the aisle.
The morning began with Paige and her four bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done at Blowout Co. The girls then arrived at the Plantation around 3pm to slip on their dresses and take some pictures before the ceremony. Paige and Brian chose to not see each other until Paige walked down the aisle so the girls were careful to sneak around the property hiding from the boys!
The bridesmaids wore two different gold sequin dresses. One was a thin strap scoop neck and the other had a high neck line. Their flowers were a mixture of pinks, white and greenery with Paige’s boutiques having long white satin ribbon hanging down.
The ceremony and cocktail hour space was decorated with flowers and gold accents to complement the bridesmaids dresses and their boutiques.
The ceremony began with the seating of Paige and Brian’s Grandmothers and Mothers. Once seated, the Groomsmen and Brian made their way down the aisle followed by Paige’s Bridesmaids.
Paige asked Danielle Hutchens, eight years old, Adalynne Jarvis, six years old, Lauren Hutchens, five years old, and Molly Jarvis, four years old to all be her flower girls. The girls held hands as they skipped down the aisle tossing pink rose petals.
Paige was escorted down the aisle by her father, Steven, to “Here Comes The Bride” played on the harp. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to cocktail hour on the other side of the house with some light Hors d’oeuvre options presented on platters by Loveless Catering.
During cocktail hour the wedding party snuck off to get a few more pictures of everyone around the beautiful grounds of Traveller’s Rest. Photographer Melanie Grady is absolutely amazing at capturing candid moments.
The reception began at 6:30pm with Paige and Brian’s first dance to Then by Brad Paisley. Following their first dance Paige shared a dance with her Father to My Wishy By Rascal Flatts and Brian shared a dance with his mother to Don’t Blink by Kenny Chesney.
Once the dancing had begun, the couple cut their beautiful cake, by Wolfe Gourmet Cakes.
Paige and Brian, it was wonderful working with you on your big day. We wish you all the best as Mr. and Mrs. Chipouras!
