The first weekend in November 2019 was one that was packed with beautiful fall weddings and amazing couples we had the honor of working with. The week on the blog is Darian and Rudd’s dreamy wedding day at one of our favorite Nashville venues, The Cordelle. There are tears, dancing, and a bride singing Taylor Swift karaoke to her husband . . . I bet that makes you want to keep reading! So let’s get to it!
Getting Ready
Hands down, The Cordelle comes equipped with one of the most beautiful bridal suites you could ever ask for. And such was the site for Darian and her best gals to get ready for the most important day of her life!
Darian’s dress had thin straps, a sweetheart neckline, delicate details, and a stunning bride to wear it!
The hair and makeup team was ready to turn these ladies into their most glamours selves!
Darian had her best girls (in matching PJs) by her side!
One of the most important parts of a bride’s day, is slipping into her wedding dress with the help of her mom.
Before Darian could see her groom, she needed to first surprise her girls with a first look! Talk about some sweet reactions!
Darian looked absolutely breathtaking!
Rudd, in a navy blue suit and wine-colored tie, waited anxiously to see his bride!

Darian and Rudd decided their first look should be at the altar saying “I do” so it was time for a few photos with their best friends and family before the walk down the aisle.
Darian’s bridesmaids wore floor-length wine dresses in varying styles.
Rudd’s groomsmen wore navy suits with wine-colored ties.

A few sentimental details were the perfect touches!
Ceremony
The sweet, intimate ceremony took place inside under the glow of the setting sun. Darian looked radiant (and so excited) walking down the aisle toward her soon-to-be husband.
Under a large (and homemade) arch, the Lances became newlyweds!

Once the party got started, the bar was open and the drinks were flowing! Who’s ready for a his and her cocktail?!
This simple buttercream cake tasted just as good as it looked!
Reception
After a fun grand entrance and a sweet first dance, it was time to hit the buffet!
There was a quick break in the action for cake cutting and a “shoe game” to see if these two agree or disagree on who said “I love you” first!
Next came the traditional garter and bouquet toss to see who was up next!
This group sure knew how to get down on the dance floor and partied until the very last second of the night!
Finally, it was time to say goodbye . . . under neon lights!
