What do you get when you combine two of the sweetest people in the world and one of the most beautiful wedding venues? Autumn and Adam’s September wedding at The Estate at Cherokee Dock! Read along to see more about how their wedding came together in the middle of a pandemic.
The couple arrived to Cherokee Dock a couple days before the big day to get settled in. Since you can add on overnight accommodations at Reba McEntire’s former home, you can sleep somewhere between 25-30 people on property.
Getting Ready
The morning of the wedding, the guys spent some time playing games outside and swimming in the pool while the girls started their glam prep in the bridal suite.
Autumn had a stunning dress from Hayley Paige with the prettiest floral applique’s.

Autumn and Adam opted for an invitation that included a drawing of the Estate, adding a bit more of a personal touch. We are in love with her ring and the little secret sapphire peeking out.

Autumn slipped into her dress with the help of mom then finished it off with her shoes.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the property, the guys started getting ready in the grooms quarters above the stables. Adam looked incredibly handsome in his black suit and Captain America cufflinks.

Father First Look
Autumn had a special moment with her dad, revealing herself in her wedding dress to him for the first time. It was a sweet moment and he was amazed at how lovely his daughter looked.

Wedding Party Photos
The wedding party did some separate photos prior to the ceremony, saving all the full group photos for after the nutials.

A mix of superhero and sporting team socks completed the look for the men!

The ladies wore soft mauve dresses that were the perfect choice for an early September wedding. The ivory and green bouquets of roses, eucalyptus and dusty miller popped against their dresses.

Talk about looking like a princess!

Autumn’s niece was the flower girl and she was amazed all day with everything around her being so pretty.

Ceremony Details
A mirror sign and table with a guest book, sanitizer and masks greeted the guests as they arrived.

A short walk to the waters edge is where they found their seats and the ceremony altar that was made amazing by Fresh by Carryann. The petals and lanterns down the aisle rounded out the fairytale look!

Wedding Ceremony
Once all the guests were seated, the wedding party made their way down the aisle for the processional. Then everyone waited with anticipation to get a glimpse of the bride. But first, our little flower girl let them know that the time was coming.

While the anticipation built, ring security was taking his job very seriously!

Have you ever seen more long and admiration in someone’s eyes?!

Time to seal the deal!

Full Wedding Party Photos
After the ceremony, the full wedding party and family were able to grab a few group shots before the newlyweds went off on their own.

Bride and Groom Photos
Get ready for some of the prettiest wedding photos you’ve seen. The lighting, this adorable couple and the setting was all perfectly captured by Bailey Elle Photography.

Reception Details
While the bride and groom were off snapping photos, their guests were able to mingle around the pool and grounds for cocktail hour. They were able to find their assigned seat on the stunning seating chart board done by our friend Claire at White Ink Calligraphy, with flowers added by Carryann.

Upon entering the reception space, guests saw tables with lanterns and candle arrangements.

The head table was decorated with greenery, candles, bridesmaid bouquets (not pictured) and fancy upgraded chairs.

Wedding Reception
Autumn and Adam along with their wedding party, made their entrance into the reception and were cheered on by their guests.

Dinner was served to everyone and then the newlyweds cut their cake and the guests got to enjoy delicious cupcakes.

Following dinner, the matron of honor and best man gave their toasts to Adam and Autumn. Then the couple shared their first dance, followed by parent dances.

The dance floor opened and everyone had a blast showing off their moves for the rest of the night.

We absolutely loved working with this couple and are so happy they chose us to plan their big day with them.

If you are wondering how this all went down with COVID, all guests had their temperatures checked upon arriving at the venue and all vendors wore masks all night long. Tables were socially distanced and seating assignments were made based on family who were comfortable sitting together.
