This week’s wedding recap screams the word “fun!” From the bride and groom, to the wedding party, to the mother and son dance (yes, you heard me right), this wedding was one for the books. Let’s take a look at Kendall and Burrus’s extraordinary wedding day!
Getting Ready
The morning began when the girls arrived at an AirBnB located near Christ the King Church. These twelve, beautiful bridesmaids began hair and makeup in their blush robes with the help of Leslie Ellis (Locks by Leslie). This is definitely what they mean when they use the term “bride tribe.”
After getting all glammed up, Kendall’s mother helped her slip into her stunning, a-line wedding dress. The back was detailed with small buttons down to her waist. Did I mention it has pockets?

It was time for Kendall’s bridesmaids to get their first look! After the “ooo’s” and “ahhh’s,” they prayed over Kendall and Burrus’s wedding day.

First Look
The first look is always so emotional. As you can see, this first look definitely put Burrus in his feels.

Just look at how precious these two are together! Their giggles bring me so much joy!

The couple took a casual stroll so Kendall could show off how dreamy her dress was.

Kendall’s bouquet of white roses and white hydrangeas matched the elegancy of her dress perfectly!

Burrus’s boutonniere includes beautiful spray roses matched with seeded eucalyptus.

Wedding Party Photos
Kendall’s bridesmaids went with a Carolina blue colored dress. They each held smaller versions of Kendall’s wedding bouquet.

Burrus and his groomsmen look so dapper with their black bowties!

Ceremony Details
Kendall and Burrus went with a simple, yet elegant, design for the wedding programs. The programs were laced at the top with a white ribbon.

The wedding ceremony was held at Christ the King Church. This church is absolutely beautiful! The end of the pews were decorated with a bouquet of fresh, white roses, along with spray roses, hydrangeas, Italian ruscus, and lemon leaf.

At this stunning church, less is more!

Wedding Ceremony
Kendall was escorted down the aisle by her father. You can see how emotional she gets when she sees Burrus standing at the alter– giddiness topped with some tears.

During the wedding ceremony, the couple decided to take part in communion. This was a special piece of the ceremony and reflected the couple’s Catholic faith.

The couple sealed the deal with the sweetest first kiss. You can just tell how in love they are!

Reception Details
The wedding reception was held at the one-of-a-kind Belle Meade Country Club. The entrance at Belle Meade holds a beautiful, grand piano located directly underneath an opulent chandelier. Each table centerpiece entailed the same flowers, but was uniquely different.

Guests began their dinner course with two choices of salad– Foucon or Lemon and Kale. We can’t forget to mention how classy and inventive this salad display is.

We have to mention this beautiful wedding cake, too!! This five-layer masterpiece of “yummy-ness” embodied the trend of the flower centerpiece at each table.

Reception
Remember how I mentioned at the beginning of this wedding recap how this wedding screams the word “fun?” Well, you are about to see why! This wedding reception will not only be one the bride and groom remember for years to come, but also the guests.

After the bride and groom finished their meal privately upstairs, it was time to cut the wedding cake!

And now, the fun begins! The bride and groom shared their first dance followed by the father-daughter dance and the son-mother dance.

The contrast between these two photos is too funny! This mother-of-the-groom definitely has moves. As they say, “he got it from his mama!”

The bride and her tribe danced and sang their hearts out with the band, Bizz and Everyday People!

After the bouquet toss, the bride, groom, and guests continued to dance the night away! Burrus definitely pulled out the most fun dance moves with his wedding reception hat.

As flower petals flew in the air, the couple exited the wedding reception in a classic getaway car.

Kendall and Burrus, it was such a blessing to be part of your day! We wish you all the happiness for years to come!
