Nashville Wedding Recap – Laura and Kenny

This lovely Atlanta couple tied the knot at the East Ivy Mansion in Nashville in November of 2020! Through one postponement and still in the midst of a pandemic, they were able to make their wedding day special with close friends and family.

Getting Ready

Laura and her bridal party begin the preparation for the big day at the East Ivy Mansion in the bridal suite with hair and makeup being done by One10 Beauty.

Matching robes for Laura and her bridesmaids help make the getting ready extra fun!

Laura’s dress was a pretty beaded and lace appliqué that scooped in the back with buttons going down.

Finishing touches for Laura as her mom buttons her up and her bridesmaids get to see it all come together.

This beautiful archway was the centerpiece for the altar, with draping flowers and greenery it helped highlight the two as they said their vows. With socially distanced chairs, the guests felt comfortable while watching the two love birds tie the knot.

Wedding Party Photos

Even though the wedding was in November, it was originally planned for April so the bridesmaids still rocked their mint dresses and pulled it off perfectly since it was a 70 degree November day!

The bright colors if the bouquets look so pretty next to the mint colored dresses. The dark blue center of the anemone is the perfect touch!

Our groom and groomsmen look great in their dark navy suits and peach color ties. The coral and orange color of the boutonnieres match perfectly with the bridesmaid bouquets.

Wedding Reception Details

With Laura having a major love for turtles (Kenny even proposed in the turtle section of the zoo), it seems only fitting to have turtles as their guestbook alternative. Guests added well wishes to the turtles and stacked them up for the newlyweds to read later!

The pool worked as a perfect backdrop for this reception space, the aqua color matched well with her bridesmaid dresses and details throughout and complemented the peach and coral color against the beige!

The glass centerpieces added the glam look that Laura had envisioned for their reception. The favors for the guests were cookies from Hawaii, a nod to the grooms heritage.

Late night snacks for the wedding, huge win for the guests and also look delicious. We love banana pudding!

It looks so beautiful with the twinkly lights when the sun went down.
