We are pumped to share our first wedding of 2017 with you guys and it could not have been a better couple to kick off the year! Meaghan and Kyle said their “I do’s” at Scarritt Bennett on January 28 and we just loved working with these 2.
Meaghan’s family and bridesmaids rented an Airbnb in Edgehill for the weekend and spent the morning of the wedding getting ready here. The girls donned matching robes to get them in the spirit of standing with Meaghan on the biggest day of her life.
Photographer, Gavin Nutt arrived as the girls were finishing up to get shots of the finishing touches and Meg putting on her dress.
Kyle arrived at the church right before the first look with his bride. The boutonniere with the greenery and winter berries was perfect for the January wedding.
Meg and Kyle shared their first look outside of Scarritt Bennett and continued with photos of the 2 of them together. Shortly after that, the wedding party joined in before they all walked down the aisle for the ceremony.
The girls had black dresses with white shawls to keep them warm on the chilly winter day. The guys complimented the girls also wearing black tuxes and bow ties.
The Wedding Ceremony
It was now time for them to become husband and wife in front of all their family and friends. Meaghan and her father have a very special bond that was noticed right away when I saw them together.
Fresh by Carryann did an outstanding job with the decor on the altar table. So much candlelight! The lace runner on the table belonged to Meg’s family which added a personal touch to the ceremony decor.
Once the ceremony was over, the guests headed to Houston Station for the cocktail hour and reception while the wedding party finished up some more photos. The centerpieces were the perfect combination of classy and elegant to fit Meg’s vision. The string lights through the space and draping down the center tied it all in nicely and was the perfect amount of light for the evening.
Throughout the evening, the guests enjoyed dinner and drinks, the couple shared their first dance as well as parent dances, toasts were given and dancing ensued.
Their guests sent them off in style with sparklers leading to their getaway car.
As always, it was great working with this couple and they truly deserve the happiness they bring each other. We wish you both the best, Mr. and Mrs. Bridgeforth!
