How To Create Your Perfect Wedding Invitation

Every step of the wedding planning process is important to your special day, but it would not be a public proclamation without any attendees. Vision in White is here to help with all of your invitation needs for your VIP’s for the day: your guests! Your wedding invitations are so special to you and your guests. They set the tone for the day by showcasing you and your partner’s personalities, inform guests on details, and provide an adorable keepsake for you and everyone who receives them. Keep scrolling to see how you can create your PERFECT wedding invitation!

Wedding Invitation Color Scheme

When designing your wedding invitations make them a personal reflection of you, and really showcase your personalities! An easy way to distinguish a color scheme for your invitations, is to think of the florals, linens, napkins, and plate ware you are using that day. For example, in the invitation above you can see the pinks and blushes used for florals so this couple decided to execute that onto their invites. It essentially gives a beautiful sneak peak for the guests.

Wedding Invitation Font Choice

When deciding on your font choice take into consideration the vibe of your special day. Is the theme elegant, romantic, minimalist, or vibrant? This couple above had a beach wedding with white, gold, and sea glass green as their color scheme. For font, they chose to do soft cursive and print to really fit the destination relaxation theme!

Add Some Photos!

Another great way to customize your invitations is adding your own photos. Typically these will come from your engagement session with your photographer. When adding photos to your invitations this creates a very personable touch for your guests. They can see how much love you and your significant have for one another through priceless candid moments!

Wedding Information Needed

Information to be sure to include are your names, ceremony date and time, the address, attire details, and any extra info you feel necessary to be included! Something else you may consider adding while sending your invitations, are RSVP cards. This way while the guests invited are overlooking the the information, they may go ahead and reserve their spot. This can be done with a QR code card, as seen above, that links you to your wedding website to reserve, or you can include a return address to send hand written reservations to.

We hope that this guide was helpful as you begin designing your wedding invitations. Make them unapologetically and uniquely your own as they will be a special keepsake for you and your loved ones!
