This May we were able to assist the new Heck’s in creating the wedding of their dreams! The, small and intimate ceremony took place at Holy Family Catholic Church and once the couple had tied the knot, everyone headed over to The Barn at Sycamore Farms for the reception.
Truly, it turned out to be the chic and rustic wedding that so many Nashville brides aim for!
Getting Ready
Amy was a radiant bride. She was bright eyed all morning while she was getting her hair and make-up done. Her eyes simply sparkle with anticipation and excitement.
She, alongside her bridesmaids, all wore matching blue button-ups and shared tons of laughs and smiles while getting ready. They got to reminisce about their friendship with one another, and most importantly Amy.
The soon to be Mrs. Heck!
Amy’s lace wedding dress with beaded detailing was simply beautiful. It rested on a lamp post next to a mirror welcome sign with The Heck’s written on it.
Amy’s mom helped button up her mermaid style lace dress. Captured by Caitlin Steva Photography, it’s sure to be a lasting memory for both Amy and her mother.
Andy and his father shared a special moment as well as you can see the two of them making sure he looks perfect for the day.
Ceremony Details
The couple got married in the mid-afternoon at Holy Family Catholic Church. The space itself was already gorgeous so all that was needed were small floral accents, done by Belles Fleurs, to make the space even more illustrious.
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was small, mainly friends and family, and full of moments that the couple will never forget, such as, the flower girl and ring-bearer who were precious walking down the aisle hand in hand.
However, everyone was breathless when they saw Amy walk down the aisle with her father ready to give her away. Andy, who had been anxiously awaiting his bride, was speechless at the sight of her.
The couple had communion and shortly after, were congratulated by their guests with cheers during the first kiss!
The two make a gleeful and joyous exit from the church before they, alongside with wedding party, hopped onto Old Town Trolly to head over to the reception!!
Wedding Party
Before the reception, the newly wed couple, along with family and friends took some time to take memorable photos at the church. You can tell that they certainly had fun and were in a celebratory mood!
The girls wore the palest of gray dresses in matching designs. Their bouquets had pops of dusty rose which looked amazing against the color of the dresses. The men, wearing black, looked very classic and formal.
Bride and Groom
Caitlin Steva Photography sure did a wonderful job with taking photos that are sure to hang on the walls of the Heck’s household for all to see.
Reception Details
The reception, which took place at The Barn at Sycamore Farms, is a beautiful venue. The barn added a rustic charm and modern touches were included in the decor to add a layer of sophistication and elegance. The chandelier also added a sort of ballroom feel to the rooms impossible to miss as guests walked in. Upon their entrance into the space, guests signed a framed photo of the couple.
Seating assignments were done on marble coasters which were also a favor the guests could take home with them.
Menu cards were placed at the tables so the guests knew what they’d be having for dinner. A super tasty meal from Beyond Details was in store! Centerpieces were an assortment of green garlands and gold terrariums with flower buds. Marble table numbers were added in to round out the look.
The cake and other sweets made by Dulce Desserts were to die for. There was an array of treats for guests to enjoy from cookies to cannolis!
Wedding Reception Highlights
The night began with dancing, dinner, and everyone having a good ol’ time.
The two cut the cake, then lots of toasts were made for the happy couple, and by Amy and Andy, celebrating their union and their love for those around them! Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Heck!
