This past May, Ashlee and Alex had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Long Hollow Gardens in Gallatin, TN. The rustic landscape of their venue fit their theme perfectly and even the spring weather complied on their “big day,” adding a gust of wind to help create magnificent photos of the couple with Ashlee’s stunning veil.
Getting Ready
Ashlee’s dress had beautiful lace detailing in floral patterns throughout. The dress also has a V-neck, fitted band around the waist, and long train, accentuating the lace detailing even more.
Ashlee’s blue-grey bridesmaid dresses all went perfectly together for the spring day.
Her bouquet was beautifully filled with flowers of various colors and green elements, making it a pop of color among the venue’s green scenery.
At each place setting, guests we welcomed with a poem, perfectly picked by the bride and groom. They also found a ribbon wand as well as a honey stick to keep thing sweet.
For Alex’s ensemble, a striped vest with vibrant orange buttons complemented the blue-grey tie superbly. Additionally, his brown dress shoes brought together the wooden elements throughout their rustic theme.
Once hair and makeup was completed for the ladies, a champagne toast was a must!
The ring bearer for the occasion was none other than the couple’s furry friend, Egor! It was no small job and he is no small dog!
Once dressed and ready to go, Alex posed for a few shots to capture his overall look.
Similarly, Ashlee and her mom completed her finishing touches and then she was off to capture a self portrait before the first look.
First Look & Couple Photos
The energy of these to jumps off the page. They couldn’t be more excited to see each other and get their big day underway.
A sweet moment and gentle kiss shared between this couple was beautifully captured.
Not to be outdone by this kiss!
Their smiles and love radiated throughout the entire landscape of their venue.
These two were all about the laughs all day and keep the mood light and bright!
Finally, the veil was added and the result was breathtaking.
Wedding Party Photos
Ashlee’s bridesmaids joined her for some group photos in the vineyard. Their bouquets had multiple colors to pop against the scenery, and the blue hues matched the bridesmaids dresses marvelously.
Not to be outdone, Alex and his groomsmen were dashing as well.
Finally, the whole wedding party grouped together and everyone was all smiles.
This flower girl was an absolute pro. Just look at that twirl!
We couldn’t forget the most important member of the wedding party for a quick picture before these two said “I do.” Egor was thrilled to be a part of the festivities and even seemed to enjoy his floral wreath.
Ceremony Details
Ashlee and Alex’s ceremony cards had exquisite calligraphy and helped the guests follow along during the ceremony.
To ensure the ceremony would be an intimate moment, the couple had asked their guests to refrain from using any electronics.
With the rain rolling in right outside the porch, the ceremony felt cozy and intimate.
Wedding Ceremony
Ashlee and Alex’s flower girl was too adorable as she sprinkled the white and pink petals down the aisle.
Escorted by her father, Ashlee made her way down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be-husband, Alex.
At the alter, the couple held hands, said their vows, and shed a tear or two.
To make it official, Ashlee and Alex sealed the deal with a loving kiss. Hand in hand, the newlyweds walked back down the aisle together after the ceremony concluded.
Reception Details
When entering the reception area, guests were prompted to fill a bag with popcorn at the entrance table and locate which table they were assigned for the night.
The popcorn waited patiently in three wooded buckets, gracefully adding to the rustic feel of this outdoor wedding.
An alluring runner was made of eucalyptus and stood out wonderfully on the wooden head table.
Each table had a glass table number surrounded by decorative elements of eucalyptus and several candles in tall glass votives.
Ashlee and Alex’s wedding topper was a beautifully crafted figure of a couple embracing each other. On their three-tier cake, similar flowers from Ashlee’s bouquet were added for a pop of color and complemented the splash of blue icing at the bottom of the cake.
Once the adorable bar arrived, the party could officially start!
Wedding Reception Highlights
The string lights and candles in the reception provided the perfect ambiance for the evening. After dinner, the couple listened to toasts given by their loved ones and the room had no choice but to gleam — if the string lights didn’t do the trick, everyone’s smiles sure did.
Next, Ashlee and Alex went into their first dance as a married couple.
As the first man in her life, Ashlee treated her dad to a special dance.
Before the dancing consumed the rest of the night, Ashlee and Alex cut into their beautiful wedding cake. Their wedding day was unforgettable and absolutely charming!
We wish you both the best, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding!
