Christen and Jon had their beautiful wedding ceremony at the stunning Legacy Farms in Nashville Tennessee. As avid travelers and adventure seekers, this couple chose to elope a year before their wedding ceremony in Nashville. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a one year wedding anniversary than this! To kick of the day, the wedding party met up at Legacy Farms to get ready for the upcoming celebration. Christen and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day while wearing cute matching robes and slippers!
With the chaos of 2020, Christen and Jon decided to push their date back to celebrate with all of their family and friends. Their invitations showed the progression of their stages!
Beautiful bride Christen and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done by One10 Beauty. Christen chose to wear her hair in an elegant up-do, with a few delicate curls falling from the low bun.
Christen wore a truly stunning gown on her wedding day. With lace details flowing throughout the tool skirt and a long flowing train this dress was a showstopper fit for a beautiful bride!
Christen added a few stunning accessories to her go along with her bridal look.
Christen’s bouquet was a work of art! With deep purples, light pinks, and violets, this bouquet added so many fun pops of color to the wedding. All florals for the wedding were provided by Fresh by Carryann.
Christen also chose to do a first look with her bridesmaids! The girls shared so many smiles as they admired their beautiful friend for the first time before her big day.
Groom Jon wore a classic charcoal grey suit and bowtie for the special event. Jon wore a black leather watch with silver details, adding to the grooms classic look. He also wore a boutonniere that matched his beautiful brides bouquet.

After their sweet first look, Christen and Jon took pictures together as bride and groom. This couple got so many stunning photos together on their wedding day, the love between these two shining though in every shot.

Bride Christen looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day, the low back and trailing buttons down the back of the her dress were a stunning touch. She was radiating so much joy and happiness eager to celebrate day ahead of her.

Then it was time for the bride and groom to take pictures with their wedding party! First the group posed for this picturesque shot which took place below the archway that the ceremony would be held under later that day.
The bridesmaids deep purple dresses looked wonderful beside Christen’s lace white dress. Each bridesmaid also held a bouquet that complemented their brides perfectly.
The guys wore charcoal grey suits, but added some color by sporting vests and long ties that matched the girls’ wine colored dresses. This made the group have a beautiful coordinated look! Groom Jon also wore a bit of the matching color in his wedding day look, sporting a wine colored bowtie.

This couples wedding ceremony was simply breathtaking with so many gorgeous details! John and Christen had stunning flowers lining their wedding archway, providing a gorgeous pop of color on their wedding day.
Wedding Ceremony Highlights
Then the time came for the main event! Although there was a little rain, guests came prepared with umbrellas and did not let it stop them from enjoying the ceremony. With their closest friends and family in attendance, bride Christen made her way down the aisle with her grandfather, Hugh Smith, by her side.
Jon and Christen smiled lovingly at one another during their wedding ceremony.

Wedding Reception Details
Christen and Jon brought their personalities to life in every aspect of their wedding reception decor! The couple chose to have a special painting of the Nashville skyline as their guestbook so that they would always remember their special day and the people that shared it with them.
As avid travelers, the couple decided to have each guests seating card double as a luggage tag. This detail really enhanced the personal feel of this couples special day, and provided a fun twist on traditional seating cards!
Following the same idea, each table also paid tribute to the couples love of travel. The couple opted to forgo traditional numbered tables and instead named each table after a country the couple had been to. This added an extra layer of fun for the guest as they got to read all of the many places Christen and Jon have gone together and use their luggage tag seating cards to find their place.
Jon and Christen’s sweetheart table was so romantic with dangling sting lights and flickering candles. The floral bouquet along the front of the table gave it an elegant feel and tied in the color scheme perfectly.
The guest’s tables were stunningly decorated as well with blue table cloths and colorful floral arrangements.
This cake was such a show stopper! The cake had brush strokes of purple and gold bringing in a delightful pop of color. The cake also featured the couples new last name at the top, giving it a personal feel. This unique two tiered cake was brought to life by Jo’s Custom Cakes.
Wedding Reception Highlights
After the ceremony it was time to party! This reception was filled with so much joy and laughter from beginning to end! Jon and Christen made their grand entrance as Mr. & Mrs. Izer in-front of all of their friends and family, kicking off the celebration with a bang.
Then the couple cut into their gorgeous cake together.
During the reception, toast were then given by maid of honor, Melanie King, and best man, Nick Pellenbarg.
After that, the couple shared their first dance to the song “Then” by Brad Paisley and held each other close.
Then the party started!
Christen threw her bouquet during the reception and her friends ran to catch the bouquet!
When the night was over, Mr. and Mrs. Izer made their exit hand in hand as their guests gave them a lively farewell with light up wands!
Thank you Christen and Jon for letting us be apart of not one, but two celebrations of your love. The first with your beautiful elopement and the second with your ceremony a year later. We have loved getting to know you both. We are wishing you both so much joy in your next great adventure!
