Sunday, October the eighth of 2017, we were privileged enough to celebrate the matrimony of newlyweds Christina and Colin! The Vision in White Team loved helping plan this trendy bohemian wedding. We were fortunate enough to play a role in making sure that Christina and Colin started their marriage with the wedding day of their dreams.
Getting Ready
To get ready for the special day, the bridal party all met at Christina’s cousins house right by the venue. Christina had her gorgeous makeup professionally done by Anais of AmyLynn Larwig. Whilst primping, the bridal party enjoyed flutes of champagne, and exchanged excited chatter. Each bridesmaid donned a brightly colored floral robe, highlighting Christina’s bridal white lace robe. When the florist, Belles Fleurs arrived she was toting each girl’s flower crown for the wedding.
The Bridal Party
The bride and groom as their parties traveled separately to the beautiful Belle Meade Plantation. Upon arriving the parties took their photos in various opposing locations to keep Colin from seeing his beautiful bride before the ceremony. The groomsmen wore dashing navy suits accented with fun, striped ties. We especially loved how each boutonniere accented the bridesmaids’ and Christina’s flower crowns! And how about those fun socks?!
After the men’s pictures were taken, the bride and her bridesmaids were able to take their photos. The bridesmaids dresses were a deep green, with alternating straps and sleeves to give the bridesmaids individuality. The deep color of the bridesmaids dresses complimented Christina’s lace wedding dress, immensely. We could not get over how beautiful the entire party looked!
Each of the women had full bouquets, with huge blooming garden roses! There was incredible draping greenery in each of the bouquets, tying in a romantic feel to the entire outfit. Christina really wanted a magnolia bloom in her bouquet and there it is!
The Wedding Ceremony
We loved getting to partake in this wedding, and the love between Christina and Colin was evident through their cozy ceremony! There wasn’t a dry eye in the room by the end of their “I do’s”. We think it’s safe to say these dreamy ceremony photos speak for themselves…
One of our favorite moments was seeing Christina walk down the aisle with her father! The photos turned out beautifully, thanks to Christina and Colin’s talented photographer, Sarah Sidwell Photography!
After the couple officially were married, they strolled out hand in hand, ready to start their new life together! We couldn’t be happier for the two’s new journey.
The Bride and Groom
Now married, Christina and Colin went off to take their photos together. Starting with individuals, the beautiful bride had some solo shots done! She looked absolutely radiant, incorporating a clear umbrella to work in the creativity of the wedding.
After taking individual photos, the couple took sweet outdoor pictures together. The rain added to their photos, working in the unique use of a clear umbrella. It even made the grass and nature seem to shine, casting a glow on the entire scenic backdrop!
Reception Details
After the wedding it was party time! Everyone was ready to hit the dance floor, but before then, the guests had to fill their stomachs with the delicious catered food from Chef’s Market. Looking back on these photos, it definitely made us hungry. Additionally, the bride opted to include pickles from her hometown for all of her guests. These pickles served as a great addition to some late night snacking at the wedding!
The decorations of the reception were incredibly elegant and full of class. One of their keepsakes was an “Our Adventure Begins” box, where guests could send off the couple with happy thoughts and best wishes. In regard to the little things, two forks had sweet engraved mrs. & mr. detailing. The centerpieces were very natural with air plants and greenery in different forms.
The Reception
It was time for the bride and groom to make their grand entrance! Upon arriving the couple danced to the dreamy “(I) Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” by Elvis Presley. It was evident the bride and groom were in their own little world, dancing with one another. We know we were swooning, as was the audience of guests!
Later on in the evening, the father and daughter shared a special dance to “I’ll Be Your Man” by Zac Brown Band. The moment was incredibly touching, and we are so glad the photographer caught this moment on camera!
Throughout the rest of the night there was plenty of outrageous dance moves and laughter shared! A late night snack of Krystal burgers came out as a surprise from the bride for everyone else. Favors of Old Bay Pickles were brought out for the guests to take. It was a great way to tie in Maryland, where the bride grew up.
We loved seeing this adorable couple come together on such a gorgeous day! We wish this pair nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness from the Vision in White Team! We could not have pulled off this dream wedding without these hardworking vendors:
