With plenty of elegance and charm, Meredith and Richard’s wedding was the definition of romantic! The pair got married at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in downtown Nashville on a beautiful November day. Keep reading to take a look at all the details that made this wedding so spectacular!
Meredith and her bridesmaids got ready for the wedding day together, each women getting their hair and makeup done by One10 Beauty. Bride Meredith chose this stunning strapless satin gown for her big day. With a v-neck style top, this gown was both modern and classic, making it a perfect fit for this special occasion.
When the time came for Meredith to put on her dress, mom Janet Braun was there to help make sure every last button was in-place.
With the women all ready, it was almost wedding time! One more group hug!
Of course the wedding couldn’t start until groom Richard was also ready! Richard wore a classic black tuxedo for the event with gold accent pieces to add some eye-catching details to the look.
It doesn’t get any sweeter than Richard having his and Meredith’s names engraved in his suit jacket. Such a special way to commemorate the important day!
Bride Meredith left her groom a surprise letter to read before the ceremony. Look at that smile, someone is excited to get married!
Wedding Ceremony Details
Meredith and Richard’s wedding ceremony was held at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in downtown Nashville. The ceremony had cute personal touches for the guests to enjoy, like these tissue boxes! After all, everyone cries at weddings!
Wedding Ceremony Highlights
With hair pinned and ties straightened, the time finally came for Meredith and Richard to say I do. Meredith and her father, Steven Braun, shared a special moment together before they walked, arm in arm, down the aisle.
Groom Richard wore the biggest smile when he saw his beautiful bride coming towards him.
Then the couple shared their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. McNeil!

With the ceremony finished, it was time for the newly weds to take some gorgeous photos together. The pair got this stunning shot in the church post ceremony, just look at those smiles!
Meredith’s bouquet was filled with beautiful white flowers that looked stunning paired with Richard’s all black tux!

The wedding party also got in on the photo action, getting some great pictures with the bride and groom.

Then it was bride Meredith’s turn to take a photo with her gals! The girls wore lovely, floor-length velvet dresses, along with a flannel shall.

Wedding Reception Highlights
Richard and Meredith’s wedding reception was held at Saint Elle and had so many elegant touches! In a fun twist, the couple decided to incorporate pies on their dessert table! The pies for the event were provided by Merridees Breadbasket. The stunning three tiered butter cream cake was made by Triple Crown Bakery and looked beautiful with the romantic white roses scattered along it.
The couple also had these awesome match boxes made for their guests to take!
With tall taper candles and pops of forest green, this reception was perfectly romantic. The space came to life even more with all of the stunning candles lit.
The gold cutlery added a unique pop of color against the white table cloth and tied in the gold candle holders beautifully.

Then, with the tables all set, Mr. and Mrs. McNeil joined their guests for a wonderful reception. The couple’s reception was held at the beautiful Saint Elle in Nashville.
Meredith and Richard cut the cake together during their reception, like pros! These two make such a great team!
Meredith and Richard then shared their first dance as husband and wife to the song “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton.
Meredith and her father also shared a sweet dance together to the song “The Man Who Loves You Most,” by ZBB.
Groom Richard got the first dance with his mom before the festivities began and the two danced to the song “Begin the Beguine” by Artie Shaw.
Then it was time to party! The bride and groom welcomed their guests to the dance floor and danced the night away!
At the end of the night, guests sent the newlyweds away in style by waiving streamers for the happy couple as they left to start their new lives together as husband and wife.
