In the sunshine-y, beautiful weather that is Nashville in October, we spent the 28th celebrating Amberly and Chase’s wedding day. We loved playing a part in their special day, and getting to see the genuine love they have for one another. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, and we’re certain it was the great start to a lifetime of happiness.
Getting Ready
The wedding party met at the stunning venue, Tucker’s Gap. The venue was the perfect mix of a rustic wedding, with a touch of glam. After the beautiful bride and her bridesmaids were ushered into a private room, they began getting their hair and makeup done by Heather Beecham and Rachel Cothron Hair & Makeup. While getting ready, the bride and her BFF’s wore lace robes to contrast Amberly’s white monogrammed robe. For this wedding, all the effort was put into the little details. From Amberly’s glitzy silver Kate Spade shoes to the matching colored bridal party gift baskets, every part of this wedding was perfectly planned.
We loved the glitz and glam of Amberly and Chase’s wedding, and how joyful the whole day was. We couldn’t help but include this sweet photo of Amberly’s mother buttoning up her beautiful daughter in her wedding dress. She was a stunning bride!
Before their first look, the couple decided to write each other heartfelt letters. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room after seeing Amberly’s reaction to what her future husband had to say about his love for her!
On the other side of the venue, the groomsmen were getting ready with Chase. Underneath each of their suits, the groomsmen were rocking superhero t-shirts to provide some fun and individuality to the day. When Chase opened his letter from his bride-to-be, he too shed a tear. The heartfelt emotions going into this wedding made everyone excited and anticipating the ceremony!
Bridal Party Photos
After getting dolled up, the brides and bridesmaids headed outside to take their photos. The lovely photographer Rebecca Denton Photo was able to capture some amazing moments. Our personal favorite picture from the day was seeing the bridesmaids look lovingly at their friend Amberly, who was about to marry her dream man.
After taking group photos, the bride was able to take some individual pictures. Amberly was absolutely stunning, and we were in awe of the gorgeous lace detailing on her dress! She was an incredibly classy, glamorous bride.
Following the bridal photos, the groomsmen had their turn. We love the navy undertone of the suits, paired nicely with leather brown shoes. This was a group of some good-looking men!
After the groomsmen photos, Chase had his own individual pictures taken. You could tell this groom could not get his mind off of getting to see his bride! Everyone was ready for the first look…
First Look
After being separated for bridal party photos, Amberly and Chase had their first look. Amberly could not keep the smile off of her face as she walked up to her waiting groom! Chase was so overwhelmed by emotion when he was finally able to see his beautiful bride. The moment was incredibly sweet, and truly exemplified their love for one another.
Bride and Groom Photos
With the sweet moment of their first look completed, the couple was ready to take their pictures together. The rustic backdrop of the barn, and the rolling Tennessee hills made these pictures breathtaking. Amberly’s flowing vail made for a unique picture of the embracing bride and groom. Each photo taken seemed better than the last – it was impossible to pick our favorite!
Full Bridal Party Photos
The bride and groom were able to reunite with their full bridal party, and take a few photos. The entire group was a sight to be seen! Everyone looked wonderful together, with the men contrasting the ladies elegant blush and rose gold dresses. Everyone looked their best for this incredible wedding.
Ceremony Details
This ceremony was heavily decorated with multiple blooming flowers in shades of white and pink. The florist was Creations by Debby who did an absolutely incredible job! There wasn’t a flower out of place. The ceremony was held outside, with a long cobblestone aisle for the bride to walk down. While the ceremony took place, the bride and groom would stand under an arch decorated with flowers.
Ceremony
The ceremony was perfect for this couple’s special day! Guests were in awe at the location and the array of flowers and greenery. The flowers matched Amberly’s bouquet exactly.
We loved seeing the bride’s father smiling from ear to ear! You could tell that Chase and Amberly’s families were thrilled to become one. The ceremony was intimate, and sweet. The officiant, Reverend Mark Ashley did a wonderful job of making the ceremony specific to the couple’s love story. When the couple shared their first kiss as man and wife, everyone was on their feet cheering.
Following the end of the ceremony – the happy couple was finally able to walk away as newlyweds! Their enthusiasm was completely contagious.
Reception Details
The reception was held at the same location as the ceremony, Tuckers Gap. The colors of the reception incorporated the navy from the groomsmen suits, golds, and rose golds. There were hanging gold chandeliers, and warm mood lighting. Just like the ceremony, there were many different floral arrangements to match Amberly’s bouquet. All of the rentals were from Liberty Rental with music provided by Nashville Party Authority.
The couple opted to have funny napkins, toting drinking slogans. They also chose to have signature koozies, printed with both of their names. This was a great idea and keepsake for the guests as well as the happy couple!
In addition to decorations, there was a beautifully adorned fireplace inviting the rustic feel for the wedding. The lanterns within the fireplace mantle helped the mood lighting to set the tone for a night of dancing. There was an end table set up inviting guests to “Share a Toast” to the happy couple. Another interactive event was the signing of the Tennessee Vol’s jersey. The couple’s last names were printed on the jerseys hanging around the room, set up for the guests to autograph. The couple’s cake had their favorite sports teams on each layer, and was designed by Melanie’s Creative Side. By the end of the night, there wasn’t any left (it was just that good)!
Wedding Reception
The reception was kicked off with a bang: the entrance of the bride and groom! There was smiling and clapping and shouting as the newlyweds entered the room. It was clear everyone was thrilled to be there, and thrilled for Amberly and Chase’s new lives together.
Immediately following the entrance, the couple had their first dance. There was plenty of twirls and a few stolen kisses on the dance floor! When flipping through these photos, we couldn’t help but smile.
After the first dance as man and wife, were the toasts from the Matron of Honor and the Best Man. There were wishes of happiness, funny anecdotes, and plenty of toasts to go around.
When the speeches came to a close, the bride and groom had their separate father/daughter and mother/son dances. These were so touching to watch, and warmed the hearts of all the guests in the room!
After the traditional festivities, the dance floor was open to all! By the end of the night, everyone had been on their feet at some point. This was definitely a high energy and fun loving crowd of people!
All of the guests were given sparklers to light the night as the couple made their grand exit! With sparkles lit and in hand, Amberly and Chase shared one final embrace as they left the party!
