Lighting and draping can dramatically change the look of your ceremony and reception space. It can accent and help bring out the look and feel you are going for or hide things that may not be so pretty (exit signs, stages and platforms, doors, etc). For our Vendor Spotlight, we ask a couple questions about wedding days and the planning process to help brides get to know their vendors both professionally and personally. What is the most popular/fun lighting item for rent? Chandeliers-duh 🙂
What does a typical wedding day look like for you/delivery team? We normally have 5+ weddings on a Saturday so we try and pack the week before and start very early to get to all of our set ups for the day! Be ready to roll with the punches!
How long has NAV been in business? What made the owners want to start? NAV started in 1995 by Chris Jackson. He was a DJ and got tired of renting LED’s and then started buying them and renting them. Once people started asking him to rent random things he just started buying them and renting them and here we are!!
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go? Beach-anywhere with a beach-Bora Bora!
What was your dream job growing up? Ummmm being a hip hop star or a chef!
